I think I would like to see a link to this matter posted, Do you have one? If it is true then I think he should get the bigger piece of the pie, but I would like to see them fight already so for arguement sake split the **** 50/50

Why doesn't this work BOTH WAYS I wonder? Isn't Floyd turning down 50% of that same purse? :patsch

you looked at it from the merchant's POV. Here's the view from the other side.

if the merchant's take it or leave it offer that you refused is unreasonable and he has never offered before at that exorbitant price,..... yet you came back for it the next day willing to pay for that ridiculous amount just to have another nice pair of shoes added to your collection,....... but the merchant changed what he had offered before to make it MORE absurd.

in you mind you would think, Floyd does not want this fight. :yep

It should be 60-40 to the winner.

I do not understand. In previous negotiation 50/50 was fine. So after 1 fight 60-40 is the new offer?

    Did I miss something here?

I understand Pacquiao's position. I don't agree with it. As popular as Pacquiao is Mayweather love him or hate him is more of a draw. If anyone is deserving of the lager share of the purse it is Mayweather.

It's called NEGOTIATION you morons :patsch. Floyd is doing his work as top rank is doing theirs, it's all part of the business. Floyd is asking for 60% and what if Top Rank would have said yes? Now they say no, probably they will counter with 50% and he'll say 45% and maybe they'll get an agreement. It's what every business savy person would do. Stop this bitching about who asks for what and don't talk **** till the fight is announced.

You are right. I would settle for 50% though.

You do realize the purse split is harder to negotiate than the blood test right (which apparently was already resolved)?
Its so obvious that Floyd is looking for a way out. Perhaps the two year re-retirement is still on schedule.

I'm a Floyd fan but ****ing 60-40? Sounds like a duck. Maybe 55-45 but 60-40 is ridiculous.

While Mayweather was retiring running up debt and owing people money, Pac was on a tear beating literally everyone that was put in front of him. Ok since Mayweather came back he beat a blown up lightweight and Mosley, and that is enough for him to get the lion share of the purse? It is all about what have you done for me lately fellas. And I agree he did beat Mosley fair and square, but to sit here and all u Mayweather fans downgrade all of Pac's accomplishments for the last few years is complete bull****. Again I have no favorites between these 2, as neither one of them are any of my fav boxers, I don't have one but I do keep it real and 100 at all times. But again this petty **** grown men arguing about who gets the most money is so funny to me. 50/50 for me or like I said it months ago, 50/50 at sign of contract, 60/40 to the winner and 65/35 to whoever wins by stoppage. If its a draw or stop before the 3rd rd, 50/50. This playground going back and forth with who gets what, when, where and how makes everyone on this forum look bad and total desperate like a broke ass prostitute.
