The thing is, i don't give a ****, i want to see the fight. 60/40, 50/50, 55/45 whatever, make the fight already... it doesn't take half a year to get this **** done. Boo hoo, someone might get 40%, they can cry a river for all i care. Ya, this is negotiations, and in the end it probably wont mean jack what the offers were because they will get to an agreement, but the negotiations for this fight have been out of hand for more then awhile now. This **** is embarrassing to the sport and they should wrap this up already.

50/50 is fair and I think Floyd should accept those arrangements, but I don't fault the greedy little ***** for playing the cards he has. He is the bigger PPV draw...NOT BY MUCH, but still...he has some leverage. With that said.....so does PAC.

If Floyd doesn't move off of the even split to make the fight happen he'll survive, but it won't look good for his overall legacy b/c it will look like a "DUCK". Manny is agreeing to the testing that gummed up the initial negotiations and they were good with an even split back then. Now it's all about whether or not Floyd wants this fight or not.

50/50 is fair. But any smart business man is not going to agree when Manny Druguiao cant agree to OSDT without an window.

Come on bro 50/50 is not fair and you know it. Try to be objective with this situation. Arum and Pacquiao priced themselves out of a 50/50 split when those chose to fight Clottey. If he can take 8 million to fight Clottey then he can damn sure take 30 million to fight Floyd. They gave up the biggest fight in history to make a quick buck in the Clottey fight. Nobody asked for that fight and they didnt have to rush either. They did out of greed and was trying to duck Mayweather without being so obvious but that didnt work.

Of course.... Floyd is a very smart business man when it comes to his "Brand"...which of course is Floyd "MONEY" Mayweather. I knew he'd make this power move. What I don't know is if he'll ride this until the wheels fall off or jsut before. If this fight is NOT made b/c of the split I don't think most fans of boxing as a whole will forgive him.....well...it may take a really long time. Time usually is favorable with greatness and Floyd is great without a doubt. He's just a major *******.

It's funny you say this cause a lot of fans gave Manny a pass including you for not making this fight happen over a drug test which has never in the history of boxing stopped a mega fight from happening.

No....I KNOW 50/50 is more than fair Sam. I don't say things just b/c it sounds good. If I believe it I have no problems spitting it. Arum and PAC didn't price themselves out of anything. MANNY GAVE Floyd the respect of giving him 50/50 initially when he could have very well pulled the same POWER MOVE Floyd is making right now.

Using the PPV#'s as leverage is smart and understandable but what we see is Floyd not giving Manny the same respect he did. PAC had the better PPV#'s during the 1st round of negotiations, yet he gave Floyd the even split.

Now Floyd has leverage with having the Bigger PPV#'s and he's using it the way I said he would a LONG time ago. He's going for the lions share. For me I understand but don't agree.

"They" didn't give up anything with regards to Manny fighting Floyd b/c Floyd's demands...NOT THE SPLIT was the issue. And the Demands was the culprit for the way the intial round of negotiaions went.

If anything it's Floyd's actions that are under the suspicion of "DUCKING" based on his demands and stance on wanting the lions share this go round. If its not one thing it's anther which when that happens it's a clear picture of who wants it and who doesn't.

Giving Manny a pass for not making this fight happen over drug testing demands from his "potential opponent"? When Manny was unjustly accused without any evidence. Manny agreed to testing, but he had his own demands that Floyd didn't agree to. So had there been NO "Special demands' and the fighters did their JOBS...we would have already had the fight. But it wasn't that simple b/c of FLOYD's Demands.....Not Manny's.

There is NOTHING special about enforcing stringent drug testing policies in a sport littered with PED users.

Only drug users don't want strict drug testing for obvious reasons.

Random drug testing is not a demand a fight should not get made over. I dont care if the pope accused you of steriods. Take the damn test and fight. Plus when has Manny ppv numbers ever been better than floyd's?

I can understand what you are saying... But this is what usually happens in business deals.

Especially when the merchant establishes himself as even more of a top dog business man, by selling an even lesser shoe to a great customer for the same absurd price , before you decide to come back the next day.:lol:

Of course the business man will increase the cost, he just did great recently and can afford to.

This could be twisted around forever... I don't care who gets what, I just want to see the fight.:good

Yes there is. This is the very first time that "OLYMPIC" Drug testing was demanded. Sure there were requests once or twice in the past for IMMEDATED BLOOD TESTS done AFTER a fight but never on this level.

And there are NO CURRENT TESTING MEASURES AVIALABLE that are 100%. Matter of fact the "GOLD STANDARD" of drug testing which is WADA and USADA testing measures are EASILY beaten.

Which means for those who REALLY want to take PEDs, Roids or HGH..they are gonna take it, beat any tests and the problem will still remain. Sure stricter measures should be in place but it has to be a STANDARD NOT an EXCEPTION.

The costs for these tests are NOT gonna be accepted by the sport as a whole b/c it's Far too costly for regular matches....for a mega event like this I can understand but the way these demands came about were HIGHLY questionable.

No problems with Random. That has NEVER been the issue. The time frame of how SOON to fight night was the issue.

PAC agreed to ULIMTED URINE testing and at the very begining 3 seperate RANDOM tests. So that wasn't the issue on Manny's side.

This is boxing....BOXERS FIGHT! Man the **** up...stop bitching about what it will take in order for you to do your damn job. Man up, lace up and kuckel down for christ sakes.

A bunch of ***** ass men...boxers no less who are crying about somone having to take tests in order for there to be a fight.:patsch
Manny's PPV #'s were better when he faced Cotto around the same time Floyd faught JMM....that is when the inital negotiations began.

I'm a huge Manny fan and I have no problem Money getting the bigger purse because Floyd is really the bigger draw. 53-47 split is what I think is fair to get it on.
