Manny needs to negotiate PBF's weight to no more than 142. Otherwise, just fight the lightweights and super lightweights.

Did he do that for Oscar? Of course not. Then why do it for PBF? Who is smaller than Oscar.

Why is it that Floyd gets all this hate for "waiting for the big fight"..DLH didnt get this hate?.. Pacman didnt get it when he left the lightweights and didnt fight Campbell. Margarito didnt get it when he didnt fight williams..Cotto didnt get it when he originally turned down Mayweather. Sugar Ray didnt get it when he stalled Hearns for over year..some fighters get passes because they are more "likeable" than others..the question is as a fan are we really made at mayweather or are we mad at the fight game? We cant continue to blame Floyd for the ills the fight game had when he came in..promoters protect boxers at all costs..why? to milk money..and fighters have to balance their desire to be #1 with their desire to be able to eat with a fork in 20 years..i hate the business of boxing..but to often the blame is shifted to the boxers themselves and the sactioning bodies, ranking systems, networks and journalists who sign off on anything so that they can keep their jobs (i.e Dan Rafael) dont recieve any of it. It reminds me of when fans say players are greedy but never mention the owners who are just as greedy. Floyd was smart not to fight DLH again..no one wanted to see it..it was just a money fight...Margarito IS NOT the best welterwieght in the world he lost at welterwieght to a guy he ducked...and the rematch with cotto is just a money fight as well..arum is milking...its the business of boxing..hate the game not the player you dont like

The problem is Pimp that many of us didnt see Baldo & Zab as the REAL WW elites. They are examples of how the attention paid to Lineage can distort peoples perceptions. The other top guys would have bumped those 2 off too(Margo,Williams,Cotto...far more easily in my opinion),but Floyd was the lucky guy who got the opportunity. They didnt. The Oscar win WAS a good one though.

none of those guys, with maybe the exception of margorito were relevant then.. Cottos people wouldn't let him fight floyd at 140, williams was a prospect for sure but he was were berto is at today..

saying he want to fight Pac is only one part of the puzzles , sitting down with Arum and actually having a decent conversation to make the fight is another .

Yeah, Manny Pacquiao #1 P4P is cherry picking. Who are the "best", you idiots keep talking about "best", who the **** are they?, please mention them. You make it sound like the welterweight division is full of supreme elites like SRR or even mini Muhammad Alis. Margarito?, the same guy who got his ass handed to him by Paul Williams and is running from avenging a loss by TRUE cherry picking?, Miguel Cotto who got obliterated by Margarito?

The only dangerous opponent you can mention there is Paul Williams, anyone else you mention you know you're being a tool. Clottey?, Cintron?, Six Heads Zero Chins Lewis?

The fight with Manny Pacquiao is what everyone wants to see, this is the same Pacman who moved from lightweight and destroyed DLH like no one EVER did and not even came close to, not even Bernard Hopkins at Middleweight. Unlike Margarito who moved up one division above and ****ing lost to Santos, oh and ran away from avenging that too. Beating Margarito does absolutely NOTHING compared to beating Pacquiao at this point.

I don't agree with your entire post, but that part tells the whole story.
