I would rate Dawson over Floyd even if he never did "retire."

Yea this **** has got to be a joke. He's fought 3 guys of note. Glen Johnson fought to a damn near even match. Two clear wins over Tarver but nowhere near impressive. His best win is Adamek.

Good fighter that may be able to do more. Now he has a poor workrate and no kind of killer instinct.

In my view, a P4P #1 doesn't struggle beating Glen Johnson, especially considering Johnson is 40 and he is 26.

Dawson is a pretty good fighter...worthy of top 10 P4P status, no question. but P4P #1?

    Not a chance in hell

A p4p boxer should be able to impress against any opponent, even the talentless opponents. Dawson fought tarver twice and showed nothing of note, he just did an average job. If he was frustrated at having to fight the rematch, he should have vented it there. He still has a chance to show what he's got though and he is the man to beat at Light Heavy.

a 40 year old glenn johnson is better than any fighter pac has fought in the past 3 years.

when floyd sparks marquez in 6 I wonder what all of you will say at having this guy as p4p #2...boxing politics is a joke lets freeze out chad dawson and paul williams and hype limited fighters like marquez and pacquiao:deal

Yes, 40 yr old Glen Johnson is better than

    JMM
    ODLH
    Ricky Hatton
    MAB
    Erik Morales
    Oscar Larios

Lets just forget the 10 losses on Glen Johnsons record and believe he's the best boxer ever.

The guy takes rounds off, looks like he's daydreaming in there sometimes, has been buzzed/shaken a couple of times, and struggled vs Johnson and showed nothing spectacular vs Tarver twice. He lacks the killer instinct.

I would pick B-Hops to beat him at LHW, Calzaghe before he retired (even though everyone was claiming Dawson was the man to stop Calzaghe), and Kessler at LHW to beat him on points.

Because of his style, Johnson will be a hard fight for guys who lack some experience and power to slow him down. It is what it is. But lucky to get the win? No.

Glen Johnson is a harder fight then ODLH at 147, MAB who came to collect one last paycheck, a shot to death Morales and give me a break with Larios.

Funny, that Johnson is such a hard fighter that he managed to lose to Clinton Woods then huh?
