arum proposed a may date which is 2 or 3 weeks later. but the more important thing is that floyd killed the fight from happening. was offered a fair 50/50 split and ran away.

Go look at what Oscar/Floyd did...they did 2.4 million buys and I believe Floyd was guaranteed 10 million and Oscar was guaranteed around 26 million...

Floyd Pac will do around 2.8 million lets say..lets make that the pre estimated number. Let's not forget that Pac was offered money on the back end and that will be shown and proven in the 24/7

Then, after Team Mayweather shows you that they did make the offer for a back ends, your just gonna make up a new excuse.

So if he is getting fuked over for being guaranteed $40 million for Floyd, then what is he for getting $10-$15 million for Bradley..just saying....

If Floyd really wanted the fight in earnest (which I believe to be suspect to begin with...at least not in May 5th), then all he had to do was agree to a fair compromise. Personally, I believe this to be an elaborate pr stunt. But let's say hypothetically, all Floyd had to do was agree in which he didn't....then it really came down to Floyd either being a greedy *****....a vindictive ******* towards Arum, or a combination of both.

Arum's issue had always been about co-promoting share. If he could get it to another date or venue where he has more control, then of course he would want it that way. However, Floyd already had the venue and date set up, in effect kinda taking %'s away from Arum's bottomline. Off the bat already, this isn't the way to negotiate a fight of this magnitude. You don't push aside the other guy's promoter and expect them to be compliant. This Pacquiao...not Ortiz. Put yourself in Arum's shoes and you'd agree. See, it's not so much where Arum doesn't want the fight to happen,....he just doesn't want to be screwed over on the money-side of things. That's why it makes sense that Pacquiao changed his stance on the purse-split, to once he was willing to take a smaller share to now getting a 50/50 split. On a promotion controlled by Mayweather, this at least assures TR's/Pacquiao's bottomline isn't affected.
