Lots of Floyd haters need to do some boxing research before posing. Floyd was an Olympic medalist undefeated no draws at 23. Floyd also was P4P number #2. behind Roy Jones and fighter of the year in 1998 at age 21! Floyd defeated the best jr lightweight in the world Genero Hernadez and top 3 jr lightweight angel manfready. Also Floyd on boxing video games and making atleast 3 million a fight. Techinally Floyd beat Diego Corallas at 23. Now haters deal with those facts!

Floyd was coming off of a great amateur career that meant he was a lot further along in terms of experience at 23 compared to Canelo who had very little amateur experience which meant he had to learn on the job as a pro. That's why Canelo has so many fights under his belt at this stage of his career compared to Floyd as he had to make up for the learning he missed with his lack of amateur experience.

Floyd's resume through the Castillo rematch, given the few years as a pro, is really amazing in terms of quantity and quality combined.

Beating a washed up Genaro Hernandez who had already been smashed by Oscar is not a great achievement.

Most champions in boxing history were not undefeated coming in. Its about your body of work and accomplishment leading up to the fight. Floyd beat the number 1. Lightweight at the time. Stop hating!!!

Genaro was lineal and is a top 10 all time of the division. He was the betting favorite. His one and only loss to Oscar was at 135 LW as well. To Oscar. No shame in that. Genaro was great.

I remember Oscar and Bob Arum avoiding the great Azumah Nelson at JuniorLightweight and instead opting to fight Jimmy Bredahl! Says it all really.

:heythere may be unanswered questions in the minds of some as to wether Floyd is the real deal or not......but if you hate him you obviously hate boxing:deal

there are things i see that look like flaws in floyd, but he is human afterall. I remeber seeing him for the first time and was mesmerised by his fleet footedness and the ease that he beat his opponents. he is pretty good eh :yep:deal
