Floyd wide open after every straight right lead, Khan's speed will expose that.

What is mayweather 34? It may be another 4 years before Khan could beat him. He cant touch him in 2012, Khan may get stopped and mayweather doesnt stop a lot of people. I would pick Mayweather stopping khan as way more likely than mayweather stopping pac.

OP made a decent point that Khan has faster hands than mayweather and maybe could land a counter after May's lead right, assuming the right missed which it usually doesnt. That aint going to win him the fight though, lets assume he does land it a few times, mayweather will adjust. watch round 2/3 of the Mosley fight, Mosley tried to land the exact same 1-2 combo again but after getting rocked, Floyd was on to that one and blocked it. Its not like floyd would never get hit from Khan, he gets hit every fight, but khan wont be able to do it consistently

Khan's arms are shorter..He's going to have to fight in May's punching range, and he doesn't have the footwork to get in and out.

:good I personally don't see Floyd's age being a factor late 2012. Lot's of fighting yes, but his style is made to continue for an extended period of time/age. Especially considering the periods of inactivity as of late.

I also made this post in this thread regarding Khan being the future (and/or) future p4p fighter of the sport:

I'd personally love for Khan's career path to take the above route.

Khan won't win a round against Mayweather and will get stopped.

Khan could give mayweather the same issues zab did, if they fight on the outside and khans hands are faster he can land first as Judah did, then Mayweather backed judah up and created openings. Seeing how Khan deals with pressure (not good) and likes to fight going forward, and seeing how mayweather has been backing his guys up and using the high guard the last 2 fights, I fully expect floyd to back up khan, which will lower his work rate, keep them closer which benefits floyd, gives floyd more chances to land ect.

    Speed - Zab Judah
    Age - Ortiz
    Combinations - JMM
    Height - Mosley, Delahoya

So your banking on a Khan win because you think Floyd hasnt fought anyone like Khan?

Hahahaha and what makes you think Khan has fought someone who has even a quarter of the skill floyd has.

You should be lucky that if they ever fight floyd will be 35 + otherwise if Floyd was 5/6 years younger...:hi::hi: Khan :dead

Zab had Floyd up for the first 4 rounds and started to gas out, Khan wont gas, and i dont think Floyd will walk Khan down, as he would catch Floyd coming in due to his speed.

Look at how many guys are performing good in their late 30s, JMM, Mosley (in his late 30s not now), Hopkins, Vitali. I mean JMM has been in wars, Floyd has comparatively hardly been touched in his career, its going to be a while before he slips.

Dogg, leave arguing about it now.

There are so many flaws and contradictions to what you say, that its becoming ridiculous.

After Floyd, Khan is my favourite fighter out there. I know for sure he'll be p4p no1 in a few years time, but he wont and cant ever beat floyd, now thats a fact !

well if khan reflexes were good enough and he was strong enough and he had a great jab and his chin was better, and if he could fight laterally then yeah maybe he could beat floyd. but his reflexes arent good enough, he's not strong enough, his jab isnt great, his chin is very suspect, and he cant fight laterally enough to make floyd push the attack.

Mayweather>Khan regardless of age or weightclass.

It was 3-1 after 4 but Mayweather started backing up zab. Watch the fight inbetween rounds, Roger told him "zab doesnt want to fight" that is roger speak for pressure him and back him up, zab was fighting very defensively, staying on the outside and using the jab and winning rounds because it was landing first, Floyd cut off the ring and backed him up. This was when floyd was content to just cruise through rounds on the outside (as in the baldomir fight) so he found himself down a few rounds early on and this worried Roger. After he backed up zab and closed the gap, it created all the openings he needed.

Floyd chased Shane for the rest of the fight after he was almost knocked down, I dont think a few of Khans flurries, much of will be blocked by the high guard, will detract Floyd from chasing Khan, his best strategy for this fight.

Fighters which depend on reflexes are more prone to suffer as they age, Khan as a say again will do a real age check on Floyd, speed is a wonderful thing, its takes away all the smoke and mirrors.
