I've seen a lot of threads about who will be the PPV headliner after Floyd retires.

I'm more interested in how long Floyd will he be around for after he retires. The guy is all about money, he'll be bigger than Bob Arum and Don King combined as a promoter. He has a brilliant understanding of marketing. Not to mention he'll probably turn into one of boxing's greatest trainers. Give it 10-15 years, Floyd will own the sport. This guy will be in the spotlight for another 50 years. Just an observation.

It all depends on how successful Mayweather promotions is. I doubt it can rival the big 3 though.

Pretty sure in 20 years time Floyd will lose the majority of his money.

The problem is that nobody really takes Mayweather Promotions seriously. Their stable is pretty terrible. Isn't Golden Boy the one actually writing Floyd's cheques anyway?

Top Rank might not be around forever and go downhill, Bob Arum is a very old man after all. If that happens, it will leave place for a promotion company to fill a void. If Mayweather Promotions was to do that, they should really start making some moves now and building some momentum because at this moment they are very weak and hold no power.

Also, what happened to Filthy Rich Records? :rofl :rofl :rofl

Do they even have any artists?

I saw maybe on All Access or somewhere, one guy was introduced as the CEO of Filthy Rich Records. I had to laugh. That guy must be laughing to himself every day too, on a payroll and doesn't have any work to do.

I don't think TMT will be as big as GBP or TR, at least not any time soon. I don't think he'll promote others as well as he promotes himself, I could see him training really well though.
