I really don't want to analyze too much at once at this time, so I will leave with this for now:

Expect a good portion of the fight to take place at the very-narrow phone booth range, because Pac does not want to be at the edge of Floyd's jab, and Floyd does not want to be in Pac's mid-range where his combos typically take place.

I think this fight is going to boil down to punching power. If Pac can hurt Floyd, then Floyd will trying sticking and moving and Pac will eventually trap him. However, if Floyd can hurt Pac, it would force Pac to pick and choose his punches and significantly slow his output. Speed's only going to matter if neither fighter can hurt the other.

I agree that the SSM fight will be a good test for Floyd because he too will be trying to hurt Floyd and pressure him in an attempt to change his style of fighting. The only difference is he probably has more power than Manny but is considerably slower.

Thx Bro!:good Not to say this is how it's gonna play out, but IF I had to bet I feel more comfortable going with Manny than Floyd based on what I've seen from both sides.

very childish. just because i think floyd beats manny pacquiao in rather easy fashion makes me a floyd lover? is that what boxing fans like yourself have turned into? very sad. i'm actually a huge fan of both fighters boxing ability, but i'm able to pick one over the other, and i believe i'll be right, but of course i must be a floyd lover to be right. you're ****ing laughable.

you got to remember, floyd has trouble with southpaws, but is still able to win nearly every round, while pacquiao has problems with counter punchers and is given tough fights.
i'm hoping it'll be a real tough fight. i'm hoping pacquiao can really test floyd, but i just don't think it'll live up to those expecations, and i actually believe it'll be mosley that would prove to be the tougher fight for floyd.

i expect pac to anticipate floyds single shots then firing back combinations that will back floyd up to the ropes where pac can do the most damage. I think people forget how important pacs southpaw style will be in this fight. Floyds shoulder roll works primarily towards orthodox fighters, he will not have that against pac, nulifying that takes alot out of floyds game. I think roach has the gameplan down, you need different strategies when you fight floyd because you will need to adapt when he adapts to your style.

i really do think pac gets the win through sheer volume of punches...pac might miss the first 3 punches but will eventually connect on the next 3...

BUT if pbf somehow gets to time pac...(which is very hard imo since pac throws from weird angles with SPEED and POWER)....i think pbf gets the win through that jab and that sneaky right hook counter....

the thing is when pacquiao misses three punches and then gets caught with the odd uppercut or hook, don't you think that'll slow his workrate down? i always say good timing takes away good workrate. if you're getting hit, then you're going to slow down.

mosley may end up being the tougher fight. he dose hit harder then pacquiao and he is stronger, but that still dosent mean it will be easy. nobody can match mayweather speed like pacquioa can and nobody is as awkward as pac is. the angles that pac can punch from is amazing. who do you know can be as effective fighting backwards as pac. so in essence, the likely scenario here is that even if mayweather beats both pac and mosley, they will both be rough fights.

a walkthrough for mayweather?come on...all i know is pac is a southpaw with a one hit ko punch and keeps the pressure all night and throws thousands of punches...you dont really think that pacquiao wont land any left hand dont you?

pacquiao fights on the backfoot against come forward strong fighters, picking them off in spectacular fashion using footwork, speed and angles, but he's not going to fight that way against floyd. he's going to be the aggressor, otherwise you got no fight, and that's when floyd eventually picks him apart. as the rounds go, the easier i reckon it'll become for floyd. like i said, pacquiao has problems with counter punchers, not come forward fighters, and you got to ask yourself, why?
