of course he'll land, but mayweather will land more cleanly. good timing takes away good workrate. you'll probably see that when they end up fighting.

I don't understand the people that says Mosley will be a tougher fight than Pac. Pac does everything better than Mosley, except for chin & power and Pac is not too far behind on that either. Let me see, footwork Pac does better, output goes to Pac, speed goes to pac, head movement goes to pac, reflexes goes to pac, styles goes to pac(akward angle of punches & southpaw stance).

Agreed. I feel PAC is gonna win but I'd be dumb to say Floyd doesn't have a chance....the jab and right hook will be what wins the fight against Manny. But Floyd isn't use to the kind of power and relentlessness PAC will bring to the ring.

nope, you're wrong. pac does fight going backwards, now against mayweather, he will have to initiate the exchanges but he cant just charge mayweather. go ask hatton how that turned out. he has to gove mayweather angels and leap in an out. there will he times where he even try to make mayweather come at him. theb idea is to be as unpredictable as possible. even some of you who think pac can will on just throwing a sheer volume of punches are wrong. he'll get countered to easily because he does that and mayweather will time him. he has to keep mayweather guessing, like when he'll attack and give him all sorts of angles.

  6. Mosley has significant advantages in reach and height over Manny. But otherwise I agree with you.

I actually think Floyd has a relatively easy night against Shane. 10 years ago not so much.

Pacquiao will be a goddamn nightmare for him, though. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather have elements of their styles that the other has struggled with in the past.

Mayweather is not a counterpuncher in anything like the same way that JMM is a counterpuncher. I'm not sure i'd even describe Mayweather as a counterpuncher at all.

If Floyd wins it's b/c of that statement. Utilizing the jab and hook..countering Manny's aggressive offense will be a huge problem....but Floyd needs to have space and distance to keep PAC at the end of his punches and getting the kind of pop he needs to keep PAC honest. PAC's style won't allow Floyd to keep him at bay. PAC is gonna be on him like white on rice and Manny will be working the body and turning Floyd using angles...all the while throwing punches in bunches with a POWER.

you might be a bit confused about what a counterpuncher is. but jmm are different kind of counter puncher. jmm is a more aggressive counter puncher who throws them in combinations while mayweather throws less but is more accurate.

I just don't see him as a counterpuncher at all really. Sure, he throws counters occasionally, but his whole strategy is not based on waiting for his opponent to lead. He likes to pot shot from the outside, and does that whenever he sees a gap, which isn't just when his opponent has thrown a shot.

his potshots is what opens up his counters. he invites his oppnents in and uses his defense to make the opponent miss and score. watch his last 3 fights and see for yourself.

What an odd thing to say. I've seen a lot of Mayweather fights, and i don't think it's right to characterise him as a counterpuncher.

It's been done over and over. Mayweather isn't Marquez, and Pacquiao has improved immensely since then.

Watch Floyd against Judah. He couldn't beat Zab easy, now he's supposed to do it to Pacquiao?

Both guys offer stylistic issues for the other, that's why it's an intriguing fight.
