    Manny Pacquiao announced that he's willing to take a smaller purse than Floyd Mayweather in order to make the mega-fight a reality. "Walang problema kahit na mas maliit ang premyo ko. Ang importante ay matuloy lang ang laban," Pacquiao would relay to Manila Bulletin journalist Nick Giongco from his home in General Santos City, which loosely translated means, "I have no problem taking smaller prize. The important thing is making the fight."

It's also funny that since November, this hasn't been mentioned as an issue, yet every excuse that Arum's crusty old mind could come up with has...but either way, we will see how it plays out.

    K *****, like you really have any credibility... saving grace? Look at the *****s srambling around posting BS articles to save face.. They know this is a 50/50 fight, but they just can't admit that they're wrong.

    I knew that when the fight was actually close to being made that Floyd would use money to duck it, that's what fighters have been doing for decades... Pricing yourself out of a fight is the easiest way of avoiding a fight from being made.

    It doesn’t really matter that Pac said he’d take less than 50-50. What he says is irrelevant (as stupid as that sounds). We all know the right thing is a 50-50 split down the middle. That’s what Arum – the man who calls Pac’s shots – is going to push for. That’s what the whole world agrees on.

    Anyway, in regards to this thread, it must be noted that NOWHERE has Floyd said he will not accept 50-50. That email, shown on ESPN, is apparently fake and has been rejected by Floyd’s team.

    I think Mayweather will take 50/50. I think the fact the he called Pacquiao and/or his team shows he wants to make this fight happen. And Pacquiao was asked about the possibility of him fighting on May 5th and said maybe. So who knows, it might actually come off this time.
