I like Floyd and agree with this. I know stylistically he would take Canelo apart so lets see it happen then. Mayweather wins enough mythical battles. I'll even add to what you said and say Canelo or anything else is a cherry pick. Not that Alvarez is so good but Martinez is out this yr so Canelo is really his only choice.

I didn't say it was 100% finished, but everything I've seen from GB say's Kahn-Alexander in Dec Garcia-Peterson/Mathysse in Sept. And if the fight on sat did as bad as people are assuming what sense does it make to make Mayweather vs any of these match-ups without them having that big win they can all get in the fights they have coming up?

I have no problems with Alexander harder fight for PBF than Guerrero but at the end of the day does it really matter? He won't get credit for the win anyway.

Garcia already has 3 big wins, from his last 3 fights. That fight will sell and do better than the Guerrero one.

anybody with a bit of sense will tell you Judah and Moralas are not big wins Kahn is debatable, from what I've seen Alvarez is the front runner so it's a moot point anyway

How can you say it's not a big win? All of a sudden Garcia is an elite fighter who's wiped out the whole of his division already?

Look at his record, he's fought all the top fighters coming up. Years ago it was Peterson, Bradley, Campbell and Holt who were the best fighters at 140. Garcia has beaten Campbell, Holt, Khan, Morales x2, and his mandatory which was Judah. He's remained undefeated and backed up all his trash talk. Only an idiot would discredit everything Garcia has done. He's earned his shot at Mayweather.

He will more likely choose M. Maidana....Alvarez and Garcia are too dangerous a pick

Garcia isn't really more dangerous than Maidana (where FMJ is concerned)

I didn't say he hasn't earned it but if your trying to give people the illusion that this opponent is the guy who can beat Mayweather with out that win over the peterson-mathysse winner it's a hard sell. I said it before the only difference between Garcia, Alexander, Alvarez, Broner, Guerrero, Berto ect is perception the guy out that list who fought the best comp nobody wants to see the one who's the least accomplished everyone wants to see when the truth is all of them are mismatches.

Exactly, he's an undefeated 24-0 who is a lineal/ring champ the division beloew Mayweather. Size is not an issue as Garcia walks around much heavier than Floyd. A 147 lb Garcia might be better off.

No no no, I never said he could beat Mayweather. If you were to rack up the opponents who had a 'chance' of beating Mayweather he wouldn't be able to complete his 6 fight contract.

So you agree he has earned the fight, so what's the problem? If he loses to either Peterson or Matthysse he would ruin his shot at fighting Floyd. Also the winner of that fight, will they also be deserving? This is boxing, chances like these don't come too often. It's a job and when you get a promotion, you're damn right gonna take it.
