i was thinking about it today...genero hernandez is probably the only likely HOF he beat anywhere near his prime

tony canzoneri for instance beat jimmy mclarnin, lou ambers, kid berg and kid chocolate.

on an all time basis, floyd just doesn't have the resume

Odd I must have missed the Cotto and Margo fight. You should tell everyone about them since everyone seems to think Mayweather ducked them but if they were his left overs well ****. Pac fought 2 guys Mayweather has faced ODLH and Hatton. Hatton was lineal champ so made the most sense and ODLH was a cash cow who wanted to fight Pac again made sense. Floyd fights JMM a LW, barely, who wouldn't have been nearly the draw of a Mosley fight and wasn't highly regarded at 135 and was ****ing unranked at 147 where they fought. But even past that Pac made his career at 122-130. So his career is based mainly on the Mexican Trio Barerra, Marquez, Morales again Mayweather wasn't even campaining at that weight at the time so never fought. So your argument is horse****.

This is a truly great day for boxing enthusiasts. Finally the fraud is exposed and we can look forward to seeing more great fighters come our way and develop their careers on real skills and heart and the public seems more keen than ever to let this hype job happen again. The bubble has popped. Only can go up from here.

Again mixing facts with reality. For one the Margo fight hasn't happened so its only most likely at a catchweight. But more importantly ODLH wasn't a catchweight it was a 147 fight. The fight was signed for WW now just because ODLH didn't actually weight 147 doesn't change the fact he could have. IE the fight was the traditional 140-147 weight limit. To put it shortly your wrong about ODLH.

Hatton was very highly thought of when Floyd dismantled him. The fact that you choose to disregard this suggests your agenda.

i have to say, as much as i rag on floyd now (tired as it is to say, i used to be a big floyd fan) i think it's admirable to stick with him. i'm a roy jones fan. always have been, always will be. don't care what happens i'm with my boy. it is nice to see that kind of loyalty, even if it's floyd

at WORST he was bottom half of p4p top 10. after that sumo shove at the weigh in, the odds went down from 3-1 to just over 2-1 for floyd. hatton was highly regarded and MANY gave him a legit chance

That is why it has been important to spread the truth on the forum.
This Mayweather cat is a real scumbag. At least we got to see him with that look on his face he never experienced when Mosley had him out on his feet and he was on the stool looking like an infant. That hurt him. Hurt his ego.

lol anyone who thinks barrera, morales or marquez could beat the floyd who fought genaro Hernandez at 130lbs or 125lbs is a damn fool, any anyone who actually thinks cotto, margarito or joshua clottey could beat floyd too are ****ing fools. Pacquiao-mayweather would be a close fight to bet on, it depends if floyd would get pounded on like every other pacquiao opponent or would floyd's defense and counter punching be problematic for pac and he wins by decision. I don't think it helps that Bob Arum makes countdown's on his website and tries to dictate terms to mayweather, because I think Arum knows that Mayweather hates him because he's his former promoter and has a huge ego. The fight will happen though too much money to be made obviously.
