The sport is at a all-time high right now as far as promotion ect...we're finally getting fights on regular cable television again...this is all thanks to Money May acting an ass for what he lives for...really his whole life and business is boxing all the time...

PPV numbers will drop...
I see no one right now who can keep boxing in the limelight.

He's also a once in a lifetime type of fighter...him and Bhop were the last 2 you'll ever see that good for awhile...believe that...when he said on All Access that he is boxing he was stating a FACT.

 

LOL! He does have some of the best PPV numbers, but I believe overall in the last few years... Mayweather has fought once and did great #s. Pac fought 2-3 times and got the same/ close numbers EACH fight... So a guy like Pac would actually be better for boxing (from a business standpoint).
Canelo is a huge star, if he beats Mayweather, he takes his throne. You have Broner, with the right cherry picking could be the next Floyd Mayweather to fill his void. If Matthysse destroys Garcia on the undercard he could get much more of a following as well.
Mayweather is annoying of course, but I'll admit he does wonders to bring people to watch boxing. However, if he loses, new stars will replace him. 140, 147 & 154 are nothing like HW... They are competitive divisions with good matches to be made, with or without Mayweather.

 

Canelo doesnt have the patience that he will need to beat Floyd and Canelo's pace of fighting suits Floyd all to well....i also think he keeps his guard kind of high so i think Floyd uses the str8 to the body quite abit like he did against guerro and then start teeing off up top when he has him unsure and his guard dropping.

No way, even beating Floyd is not enough to take his spot. He is not good enough. Also one loss for floyd would not ruin him as so many people say. Garcia maybe could become something he has the skill.
