It has all the makings of a great fight! Floyd moves and counters so well no doubt he will be out worked BUT he will make Pacquaio pay unlike no one has before! If Marquez can give Pacqiauo fits then Mayweather definately can imo

I just hope and pray it happens!

If Floyd does Floyd but lands his shots inside on Manny, he can stop early. Floyd is a defensive machine that doesn't tire out. If he catches Pacquiao and continues the pressure, he'll stop him early.

 

There will be bigger ones in the future for Floyd.
All he has to do is go up and fight bigger guys.

Pac will bring something out of Floyd he never needed to use in all of his previous fights(we could see a glimpse of it when he fights Mosley) To beat a great special prime fighter like Pac requires a great special close enough to prime fighter like Floyd doing special things. I still don't think it'll be very easy for either guy....they both do certain things very well that can neutralize what the other does.

 

dunno ya know. i think floyd wll have trouble dealing with pacs combinations combined with his footwork. i can see floyd beating any fighter from LW to MW, including pac, but this imo will be the toughest fight for floyd and it will bring out the best in him or he will lose.

 

i see the fight pretty even for the first half of the fight and pac turning it up and outworking a floyd who is in all out defensive mode. i truly believe pac will take all the fight out of floyd midway through. floyd aint about to take a beating for no one.

 

People's opionions keep going back and forth on this fight as each of the fighters continue to fight various opponents. When Pac knocked out hatton, more people thought he could beet Floyd, then Floyd made Marquez look like a C class fighter and people went back to Floyd being too much for Pac and then based on Pac's performances against Cotto and now Clottey, people have been swayed back to Pac beating Floyd. I expect come may 2nd after i think Mayweather beats Mosley, people will be saying once again that Mayweather will beat Pac.
If this fight does not happen i would consider it the biggest disappointment to EVER hit boxing.

Floyd beats him, i'm more confident after watching the clottey fight....clottey is flat footed, and his offense is average at best....Pacquiao is not as effective, power wise, when he has a defensive fighter...Clottey stood right in front of him, a let Pacquiao pile up point...Floyd will be moving...Plus, Pacquiao is still EASY to hit....
