Canelo would, well could stand a chance vs ggg.
I couldn't think of any scenario where I could see Floyd as having a chance at beating ggg.

Too small, Too old and ggg is flat out just way too much of a skilled destroyer. ..

All you gotta do is follow the money to answer that question.

SRR started at Lightweight and fought as high as Light Heavyweight.

Beating Pac would not even put him in the top 10. Certainly not this version of Pac. It might move him up a notch or 2. But, it would be a good way to seal his legacy, before he walks away. I'm not sure why GGG is even in the conversation. He's a good fighter. But, he is not in the ATG conversation or even the HOF one (as a pro).

Exactly, and there are many great fighters in that resume along the way. SRR went to ridiculous lengths to prove his greatness and that is the standard that any fighter who wants to be declared the best ever has to not only live up to but surpass.

Manny was #1 when Floyd was on vacation. When the rightful #1 returned, he had every right to dictate to Pacroid.

He wouldn't be the best ever even if he did beat pacman and GGG so the point is moot. If he beat those guys, beats Cotto at MW for his lineal title and than goes up and beats Andre Ward at SMW, than OK he'll have a strong case to be considered one of the very best. That's pretty much what it'll take for him to be considered in the same sentence with the best of the best.

And if he fights GGG you will probably want him to fight Klitschko next.

Canelo and Cotto were not slow brawlers.

For the 400th time, How is a welterweight who has had two fights at Jr. Middle, "ducking" a middleweight who has not shown he can make 154.
