Charity is a choice, it's not forced upon anyone especially not when these fighters put their lives on the line every time they get in the ring.

What has Africa done for him or any black man

Pacquiao is like let's fight for Charity. He said this with good intentions in his heart, of course. Then Floyd comes back with this statement. Then let them fight for battered women Charity instead since Floyd don't give a Fark about Africa.

    It's Floyd's money, who cares.

But since you guys are trying to paint Pac a saint again ... Why did Pacquiao even fight in Macau when the rest of congress stayed to help with the typhoon relief? It's even been reported that congressmen tried to give their tickets away and nobody took it. When Pac had a chance to do what was right, he instead chose to fight for money, none of which went to charity. Even Berto cancelled his fight when the Haiti storm hit.

In fact, Pac borrowed to give to charity, a whopping 1M pesos or a measly

against Rios. Wow, how much he cares for his people and the country he serves. He probably bets more than that on one bet in his church, the casino. For all you *******s who might not know math, that's about 0.1%, 1 TENTH of a PERCENT, of what he made. In other words, Pac basically donated 1/10th of a cent away. We pay 8% sales tax here in CA and that's 80x what Pac gave to a province his mother grew up in. It's even more ridiculous if you compute it against how much he's cheated his country out for gambling (2.2 billion pesos). Charity or a joke?

Now you know the rest of the story.

While I agree that giving to charity should not be forced upon anyone. Saying 'What has Africa done for me?' is a bit ignorant and ******ed.

Yes, this. While it would be nice to give to charity, its his own money but saying 'What has Africa done for me?' is a completely stupid statement that only, rightfully, opens himself up to criticism. What does he expect, starving people to buy his PPVs or something?

The only person who sounds stupid is you, if you think that everyone in Africa is starving. There are many rich countries in africa, it not what the american media constantly show you on TV, with the flies and the starving babies. Educate yourself:patsch

I know that dumbass but that's where most charity goes, to those people. My point is what can people who need charity in the first place give to Mayweather, it seems like his attitude is why should I help them if they don't help me

Edit: And I never said every Africa country or person is starving.
