People are so lame. He is trying to make a valid discussion on it and all you have to offer is childish name calling.

I agree that it isnt important for Floyd to be throwing 4-5 punch combinations to win the fight. He did throw plenty of 2 shot cominations setting up the right hand with Shane and I think that will work fine against Pac. Floyd has several options with Pac he can try to push Pac backwards and pac isnt used to having to fight backing up, last person to back him up was JMM and Morales, in this case is were he needs more combinations but not necessarily long combinations. He can also fight on the back foot and counter Pac going backwards. His reach and speed and timing will win him the fight, Pac is too open. Betting people favor Floyd in the fight for a reason. If one plan doesnt work Floyd can go for plan B and C.

Haha, Manny landed like 110 shots on Clottey? Less than Marquez landed on Floyd.

Manny wouldn't even beat Marquez if they rematched

Manny off the juice won't throw more than 600 shots.

He never did that before Ariaz started injecting him

How can you make a valid discussion when you start with the premise that Floyd is petrified to fight? Thats highly illogical.

But I suppose fantasy matchups are what this forum is for. But then again, fantasy rarely equals reality in the ring.

And if Floyd throws one shot at a time, this will be a wide UD Pac.

Man, seriously, people are just in denial with the Marquez and Mosely fights. Just coming up with excuses to try and explain it to themselves.

Marquez was about 145 in ring. Floyd was 149.

Marquez was 142 in ring with Diaz in his next fight. He maybe moved up 3 pounds.

As an example, Manny was 146 when he faced Marquez. Only 3 pounds less than mayweather in the same fight.

It probably had a small effect (moving up a few pounds is hard for little guys) but the vast majority of that fight is what Manny has coming.

Floyd just backs guys up all night. Very hard to get any momentum, and throw combinations against him. He slows guys down heavily. Every time you try and go on the attack with Floyd, you take a bomb to the kisser, and you're back peddling and backing up.

Manny hasn't faced anyone with that sort of fight since Marquez, and he struggled enough in that.

Clottey, he had the same problems. Was unable to land any real shots, and was taking big shots on the counter.

I honestly don't think Pacquiao/Floyd will be that competitive. Seen this sort of hyping up of fights too much in the past. I know what's probably coming

There are many ways to stop fiughters throwing punches without throwing your own and this is what floyd would do.

    Man/Woman (probably man)

The Floyd is petrified to fight line, is just a pacland comfort blanket. What
    you guys cling on to.

The last thing you want is Manny having to actually box the guy. You'd rather he retired right now I suspect.

You know, tell me where I'm wrong here:

1:Mayweather offers Manny his annual fight at 50%, with all the conditions he wants

2: Manny walks away, claiming he can't do the drug testing

3: Floyd offers him a 14 day concession that even Arum wanted him to take. He declines

4: Mayweather fights Mosely instead, as Manny won't fight him

5: 12 months later, Manny tells the world that the original conditions are actually 100% fine.

6: Mayweather goes online, calls him out, abuses him, and tells the world that now he's agreed to the deal, he'll be his next opponent in 2011.

Why did he walk away? Was he lying about not being able to do the tests? Was it an excuse?

    Sorry man/woman

It's just taken Manny 12 months to gett he nerve to fight clean,if you ask me

Manny's record punch output pre Ariza was 690 wasn't it?

    Not it's 1280?

Manny goes into the ring with full random testing, it will be the same as Shane Mosely. He'll suddenly remember he's 32, without the EPO to give him a boost

Have you ever seen the videos of Manny's sparring sessions with Amir Khan? On Youtube?

I tell you, there's a very good reason Roach now bans these sessions being filmed. Khan owns Pacquiao in sparring sessions.

I've watched about 5 or 6, there's just no other way to put it, Khan's on top in that match up.

Manny just doesn't get near him. Khan's too fast, and accurate on the counter. Every time Manny tries to get his combinations in, Khan just lands quick, powerful combos.

Honestly, watch them yourself. Manny spends the entire time with Khan being backed up. Back peddling from his shots. One bit, he's back peddling so much, he nearly falls through the ropes.

That's why Pacquiao only generally fights brawlers, who fight like he does. His achilles heal is skilled guys like Khan.

Seriously, I'd give Amir Khan a heck of a shot with Pacquiao. Let alone Mayweather
