Both Marquez and Morales' sucess stemmed from making Pacquiao lead first, then the counter would come and only then did either of them go foward to drive Pacquiao to cover. Pacquiao had some sucess late vs Morales, because Morales did two things..... 1. He turned southpaw and...... 2. He started advancing toward Pacquiao and not sitting back waiting for Pacquiao to come to him. Look at the Pacquiao-Cotto fight..... Cotto was brilliant for the first 2 rounds of the fight sitting back center ring and letting Pacquiao come to him....... ......as soon as he got greedy and started his advancement toward Pacquiao, the fight totally changed toward Pacquiao's favor. Its OK to take steps foward and drive Pacquiao back, but first hit an advancing Pacquiao first before advancing and driving him back for cover. The key is to counter, drive Pacquiao for cover, and this is what makes Pacquiao have to reset. ......just check out those Marquez-Pacquiao fights, Marquez lures Pacquiao in as if he's got a string and is luring a cat with it.......when he bites, Marquez counters and drives him back. The blueprint has been written. Mayweather is too smart not to follow it.:deal
Are you dumb or what? Sparring sessions? atsch Pac is helping Khan by slowly building his confidence back. Just see where Khan is today. Bubbling with confidence after that devastating KO by Prescott.
mm theres another reason morlaes was succesful, that's because Pacquiao was sloppy in the first fight and got himself off balance all the time. He doesn't do that stuff anymore. Watch the second fight. Pacquiao's balance and defense are miles better already. The blueprint has been written to beat that version of Pacquiao, there hasn't been a blueprint to beat today's Pacquiao. By this time, Roach has given Pacquiao the knowledge of how to cut the ring off better and not follow his opponents around the ring. btw you mentioned Cotto was brilliant in the first two rounds 'waiting' for Pac to come forward. You must have forgot that he fought on the backfoot for the last 6 rounds or so, and Pacquiao continuously walked him down and destroyed him.
Morales had slipped considerably by then, in fact Morales was slipping before the first Pacquiao fight, but he made his last great stand in that first Pacquiao fight. The proof you say? Well if Pacquiao was so much more improved, why did Marquez repeat his performance vs Pacquiao? The Pacquiao you said was so much improved in the 2nd and 3rd Morales fight, was thoroughly outboxed by Marquez by the means I described previously. Fought on the backfoot? Correction, survived on the backfoot. Once you allow a fighter that much momentum, its about impossible to stop it. Cotto had been worn down and beatdown by the time he went on his bicycle.....and btw, being on your bicycle is not the way to beat Pacquiao. You take subtle steps back and to the side and counter Pacquiao's aggression with timing shots. Cotto did'nt go on the backfoot by choice, but was forced to do so to survive.
Fraud will need the combination of good lawyer to VOID jail time, a lot of money to pay off Harris, a VACATION to avoid the fight, and the ever loyal *****S to fight his fight in the fantasy fights.
They both have success because Pac was predictably LEFT hand happy. Pac was easy to read at that time because all he had was the left hand and his defense was so crappy he was susceptible to the right straight. When he was starting to develop his right hand, it spelled a big differnce. Pac evolved as a fighter and did not remain the same. The crude Pac broke JMM's nose into several pieces yet you make it sound like only Pac is receiving the punishment! ****, just look at JMM's face after the fight because it was a brutal fight for both fighters. As always, you have a crappy analysis, nothing changed.
Marquez' face often looks marked up even in fights he dominates. As for the broken nose, that came in fight one..... How impressive is that, that he goes on to school Pacquiao for the remainder of the fight without being able to breathe properly from that busted nose he suffered in the first round?bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb
the "improved" pac had a worse showing vs JMM in their second bout like 3 to 4 years after their first bought
Sounds good that emmanuel is vulnerable to the right. Young Mayweather forces it land regardless of how susceptible people are or not to that punch.
Are we watching the same fight or you are just too stupid? The first fight became drawish only because of the first round. Other than that, JMM won most of the rounds. Pac lost more rounds than he won. The second fight, many have it even in terms of rounds won or an advantage of 1 round for either fighters with the knockdown as the decider for most sane (except Divac and *****s) posters. That is why I hate *****s who pretend to be "experts" in ESB.
That's true. Roach and Pacquiao could end up working on a gameplan of neutralizing Mayweather's right, but this could end up backfiring.
