Eddie Chambers said: "When Pacquiao will get in there , hell be kind of shocked of how strong Mayweather is and then how fast and how sharp and precise his punches are. Mayweather probably hits a little harder than people give him credit for as well, so he will get that respect. Once Mayweather gets that respect out of Manny, Manny wont be coming in throwing seventeen punches at a time trying to get to him." "Its just like when Manny Pacquiao fought Marquez, those fights were razor thin and thats because Pacquiao respected Marquez, not only his boxing ability but also his power. It just looks to me like Floyd Mayweather is favorite and over the course of five to seven rounds, it will start to become pretty one sided going down the stretch."
Pac will shock Floyd with his speed timing and power. Bradley said he felt as though he was surrounded due to the angle Pac uses.
for both these guys it's the best fighter they have ever faced, they are both going to shocked and taken out of their comfort zone, it's whoever reacts better and can reach an even higher level of operating that will win the fight tbf Floyd is on the slide, Maidana is barely B level dispite what anyone says and floyd could only beat him by the skin of his teeth in the first fight, the second fight i don't really count due to the bigger ring,Bayless etc I mean he already stacked the odds in his favour in the first fight with the gloves then he just went whole hog in the second also Mayweather hasn't faced anyone with the speed of Pacman since Judah a whole 9 years ago! however i do feel that floyd wouldn't take a fight he knows he can't win so i think he wins still
Agreed. I think, because Pac knows he can't out box Mayweather, he will just try to swarm him the whole time. I don't think he cares if he gets knocked out. Especially if he knows he's behind in the later rounds.
I'd take Eddie's word over some forum dwellers. One thing to look out for though, is Pacquiao has nothing to lose. I think he'll lay it all on the line.
This. Whoever shows the ability to make adjustments. They both seem to negate each other's strengths.
Marquez has fast legs at 38? If Marquez was able to limit Pac's output, it's not a logical stretch to say Mayweather will as well. Floyd is superior to JMM in essentially every boxing category. (That was also proved in the ring, and is not up to debate)
I think it's that mentality that will be his undoing. Just IMO. Pacquiao because of the fighter he is, will look to push the fight when he should be patient. He's going to over-extend himself, just like he did with Marquez in all 4 of their fights.
If Pac went to war with Margo, you think he's going to respect Floyd's power ? And Floyd doesn't fight at all like Marquez. He doesn't stay in the pocket. He prefers to surprise you from the outside. Pac can hurt Floyd from the outside, just as he can from the inside, because his fast hands/feet. And Floyd HATES to be hit.
