While its bad that he didn't make the weight that everyone believed he was told to, I see it as a matter of him being his own man. "F u, I can do whatever I want, what are you going to do, call off the fight?" mentality.

Basically, its FLOYD's way of getting out of a fight with Pacquiao. He can't fight at a catchweight. Fine, he'll fight legit welterweights who will give him problems. I've always been against Pac vs Cotto from a catchweight point of view. This will undoubtedly be Pac's most dangerous fight EVER. Should he lose, the PBF fight goes out the door and we still get a showdown between Pac vs Bradley or Pac vs JMM III.

If Pac-Mayweather were to fight, Why bother even having weigh ins with all this different weigh ins in the contract? If anything there should be a penalty for a fighter coming over 150 if these guys put aside their differences.

PAc never intended to fight Floyd. Arum or Roach will fly when the first excuse they can ride with is legit.

Fact is Floyd is 32, he isn't 22. When you are in your prime, the weight comes off easy. Floyd trains hard which is why I question what some have said. Do they hate Floyd that much that Floyd was looking for only a 2 lb advantage? You catch my drift D? Floyd has never had trouble making weight, and for some to say he calculated 146 is comical. It just gos to show who how much guys hate Floyd. They'll say anything to discredit his big mouth.

After the age of 30, your prime skills are going down the drain, and the great fighters compensate by becoming smarter and more flat footed.

People think that JMM will be the one to come foward, but it will be Floyd coming forward at first trying to draw JMM into an in fight with his jab, and when JMM gets caught, that is when he will try to come forward to counter Floyd, and that is where Floyd is at his best...countering his opponent. Both guys will attack and back off until they get into the latter runds. Floyd can be aggressive which people have forgotten because they hate him so much.

Roach talking about it's not in Floyd's DNA to come forward was comical to hear. Roach retired early as a fighter and he was a pressure fighter who bled a lot and was a punching bag himself. His opinion on this fight is shite, and I'm being real. Floyd is going to slowly break JMM down and JMM will have his moments early where his punches will be strong. Floyd loves to go to the belly, and the body attack, the jab, the left hook, and then the right will finish JMM off in 10. JMM has to take Floyd into the deepr rounds using his terrific guile to get in and out throwing those H.O.F combos he is famous for. JMM's chin is superb as is Floyd's, but this is a battle of the minds and I expect Floyd to win the war of attrition.

Note: Floyd-Dapidran will not happen because Arum and Roach will ask for either 145, and Floyd will not agree to this, and Floyd will move on to fight Shane in January at 147. Floyd's track record of making weight is second to none so when I read that shite, I see other unterior motives at to why people don't like Floyd. It just isn't his mouth either. He didn't make weight, he will pay the fine. If Cotto weighs 147 like he should for his ww fight with Dapidran, lets see if Roach pulls out like he said he would.

Yea his a cheater look ****** he agreed to a catchweight at 144 and he didn't even honor it. He just said **** it i'll get fine. This is already a mismatch to begin with since marquez is a lightweight coming up to fight a welterweight. Floyd could have made it at least even by coming down couple of pounds.

So too bad for your boyfriend.. he won't even get a little credit if he wins this fight. :nut

I agree with this except Pac and Floyd not wanting to fight PBF They'll definitely fight him as a cashout retirement fight There's no question about it. I just don't think it will be at a catchweight which is too bad for us fans who WANT to make it fair. But in the real world, I would be very happy if Pac fought his last fight against THE Man at 147 as long as its his last fight. Hell, I'll take a Pac-Bradley consolation fight if Floyd can't cut the weight. that's a great fight in itself.

I'm a little older than PBF by a couple of months. Its very tough to lose weight when you hit your 30's even if you're in shape. The body shuts down and just gets used to the added weight as you get older. Simple anatomy and physicology.
