If 1.2M is fakking real, Pac is "The Man.". Remember most hard core boxing fans boycotted this fight, so Pac brought in a lot of casual fans. Too bad they won't be back after that showing.

Nobody realised just how shot Mosley was when he fought Floyd. Everyone was fully aware that he was shot to **** when Pac fought him, hence the lesser figures i think.

When Floyd fought Mosley, it was very well hyped. They are almost EVERYWHERE promoting the fight. Many people believed Mosley had a chance.

When Manny fought Mosley, Mosley was considered a huge underdog. Even ESPN said that it was a bull**** fight. There were a lot of negative comments from the media. Most people here doesn't even want to buy the PPV.

Floyd vs Mosley hype > Pac vs Mosley hype

    Odds:

    Mayweather vs Mosley
    Pacquiao vs Mosley
    Go figure.

Mayweather had the biggest drop off in the history of PPV. 2.4 Million to just over 1 million. Guess he is not much without Oscar.

Pacquiao PPV only going up. 1.2 million vs Mosley on Showtime and probably higher than that.

Err not that huge considering pac had a platform of how many million homes. I actually predicted 2 million buys, so i'm disappointed.

This event suppose to have changed how boxing will return to the mainstream instead it did no better than what hbo could have done with less homes.

I think CBS/Showtime has the ability to reach 115 million homes compare to HBO 28million.

The experiment was hardly a success that would change boxing ppv history nor was it a failure.

you idiots still don't get it

Floyd has the most boring style of fighting to the CASUAL FAN, yet he can generate such ppv revenue is remarkable to say the least. It is actually incredible for someone of his style.

Pac is a fan favourite, has the most attractive style of fighting to the CASUAL FAN in boxing at this moment. A style that many people pay to watch as if it was a UFC event, come forward slugger

No shame it that at all.

But for floyd to even be doing what he has done, take my hat off to him.:deal

If I were a *****, I would rather rejoice with how many fights he make than how much money he makes. Who cares anyway about other people's money?

He was hyped for 10 years by HBO as the best fighter on the planet. PPV is an American company. Floyd is American. I don't see how that is anything special. After people watched the ODLH fight and were disappointed by him, his numbers fell of a cliff.

    How about Hopkins?

Floyd being an american doesn't mean jack ****. What other americans are doing over 1million buys????

You don't see how someone who is perceived to have such a negative style to watch to the casual fan doing a million buys per fight as special:patsch

How much did oscar de la hoya do after he fought mayweather?

The important question is who makes more money, Pac or Floyd?
