Porter effectively forced Thurman to fight with his back to the ropes in round 2. Thurman didn't do to well fighting on the ropes. Makes you realize how skilled Floyd is in the same position. Probably the best fighter with his back to the rope ever!

And Floyd won't mention Thurman, Brook or Porter when he'll be coming back. In fact and as usual, he will choose a fight that he already won before entering the ring. Sorry but Garcia isn't in the class of those 3
Names. Garcia will be the one winning the sweepstake since it's an easy fight.

Thurman can't really fight on the inside pbf can. Not to mention pbfs defense is light years better than thurman

The comedy continues around these parts. Floyd beat fighters who were a lot better than those 3 with ease.

Yeah, Porter would take a lot of punches from Floyd on the ropes and miss a lot of his return shots.

Floyd is a great back fighter but he struggled big time with his back to Ellerbe. If you thought he was going through it during his severe dehydration, Ellerbe has him on code red moment when he was fighting Ellerbe on his back. Only thing that would save Floyd is 750ml IV ****rcation right into his Ahole.

Absolutely not.Toney and Benitez were better fighters with their back to the ropes.

Since when did he choosed a worthy opponent in his prime? And the list goes on and on... Floyd always choose names that looks great on a record but that are over the hill or stand no chance. Guerrero and Berto were really worth it? I mean...common.

Floyd was past hs prime when he fought them. Guerrero was a world champion. Floyd beat 23 champs. He could only fight the guys who were available. Everyone who fought Floyd for the last 5 years or so fought an over the hill Floyd.

Floyd is defensively sound with his back to the ropes and he lands some nice counters, however, his work rate with his back to the ropes is very low. It is why the Maidana fights appeared closer than they were as Floyd barely threw back against Maidana's s****py barrages when caught against the ropes.
