If someone told you that Floyd was fighting a guy who had gotten KTFO in his last fight and had lost at least two of his last three...what would you think?

nothing in this particular case because styles make fights. Pac destroyed Barrera, Barrera humiliated Morales, and right away Morales wants to take on Pac. Joke of a fight, right? Until it actually happened.

Styles will always make fights and this fight should have happened a long time ago. It should still happen just to see if, as some suspect, the left hand can land on Floyd with any kind of consistency early. That's it.

Lennox Lewis got ktfo by Rahman. Was he gun shy in the rematch? Sometimes things happen in boxing. (And, sadly for Bradley, his fight with Pac wasn't even close. If he had done what he did in the 10th round every round he would have won. As it is, he didn't land enough of those jabs to take anything). Pac looked great in Marquez 4, a guy who has his number. It's how you lose sometimes.

I didn't think he looked great at all. He got dropped twice. I think offensively he looked great but defensively he looked like ****, was tiring in the sixth and a step slower too.

Anyway he needs to build himself back up.

well it's the first time I ever had him actually outboxing JMM without knockdowns. Obviously his chin didn't look great. I think his defense was good, but his punch resistance was crap. Marquez hits hard and always has.

Defense was horrible. Marquez threw that first knockdown from halfway across the ring. He was very selective with his punches yet landing and landing well. Pacquiao only looked good offensively, nothing else.

Save yourself the time and effort. It won't and it never would have.

The far more likely scenario is Mayweathers right hand counter would land much more often than JMM's did throughout their 4 fights. Without Mayweather taking as many shots as the Mexican.
