You may be right. But who else poses even the slightest threat. Why not fight GGG. It is the most interesting fight out of there.

Problem for GGG is that he doesn't have a country behind him like Canelo and Khan.. Floyd likes that sort of thing.

The only way they could build this up is if GGG says that American came to his country and tore it apart, Now he's coming to tear apart the best American boxer.

That would get headlines and make it a huge fight.

Stupid fight to make. GGG is a power puncher and Floyd doesn't have the power to hurt him and would have to pot shot all night. Even if Floyd could win, he wouldn't look very good doing it and at this age its just not a smart fight.

GGG is the wrong fight. Martinez makes more sense.

At 154 thats a fight I'd want to see. At 160 it would be unfair.

Question would be how much power would GGG bring with him down to 154? If it drains him too much, then the fight will be another lame duck.

    agreed.

and if floyd beats ggg at 154 and then danny at 140 he is the greatest of all time.

    a concurrent belt holder at 140, 147 and 154.

    never been done before.

Wow are you serious? Golovkin would walk through Mayweather. Golovkin is too big and powerful, Mayweather would be on the canvas in a matter of minutes.

    P4P, Floyd anihilates GGG.

If they ever fought GGG would be coming down quite a lot so it'd be even easier for Floyd.

Please someone tell me how GGG could possibly beat Floyd? He's not fast, and floyd could make him miss and counter all night long. He wouldn't be able to trap floyd as his feet are nowhere near as quick and Mayweather never really gets trapped. Add in GGG's massive lack of experience and it just gets more and more obvious.

All GGG has is KO power and decent fundamentals. That will never be enough to beat Mayweather.

Idiot. Rosado was at least 25 pounds heavier compared to Floyd at fight night. Imagine what those GGG punches do to a 150 Floyd. Money May won't even fight a 140 prime Pac in '09. GTFOH :thumbsup

I think Floyd would comfortably beat an old warhorse like Martinez, but against a guy with superior footwork and the power of a CW:think:think:think:think

I'd rather see Floyd fight Manny. As much as Id like to see Floyd laid out, doing the Liakovich shuffle, I don't want it to be a tainted loss b/c he stepped way over his boundaries.

There are plenty of good legacy fights for him at 147 or 140.

    Pac
    Khan
    Garcia
    Broner/Madaina
    Brook
    Thurman
    Marqueer 2

I believe Pac and Khan would stand the best chance at beating him, and neither would have an asterisk attached to it.

If Floyd beats Pac, Khan, and any combination of 3 of the other top 140-147s without losing to any of em.....as much as I hate the Roider, he'd be a top 5 ATG anyways.
