The only fighters who gave Floyd problems were pressure-fighters(JCC, Pryor, Duran, etc), Pac was not really one. Floyd more than likely beats Pac 9 out of 10.
Nah the Pac from the Diaz through Margarito fights was a different animal. That was the time his boxing iq met eye to eye with his physical abilities, and no one was gonna out match his athleticism. Sure there were better boxers, Floyd being one, but I see his defense being a huge downfall against Pac. I see a similar fight that he had with Clottey, while obviously Floyd is gonna take chances, too far and wide in between
Floyd offered to fight Pac several times. Pac turned him down refusing to be tested, stating that he was afraid of needles.
PAC MAY 2009 is a 50/50 Pac's speed, power and athleticism v May's reflexes, timing and defensive prowess Looks mostly a lot like the actual fight they had, but a lot more explosive, with PAC rocking MAY at some point like Mosley did, difference being PAC could have followed it up and taken MAY to deep waters. I think MAY could have weathered the storm though and revert back to PBF aggression levels in the later rounds. Could have been a great fight shame we never saw it
Probably; styles didn't match up. Add that Floyd was naturally bigger, taller AND longer which further played into his strengths vs. Pacs style and it's just an uphill battle every step of the way. He's still a ***** for stalling, though.
Pac was out for blood before he got KO'd and became a more measured fighter. Pac from 2008-2012 would have put a beating on Floyd. Hell, the old semi-shot version stunned him twice and Floyd fought the most cautious fight of his career. Floyd knew it, which was why he put up roadblock after roadblock until he thought Pac was passed it enough to sign the fight.
Most likely, Floyd is just that much better. Like said before, maybe he didn't believe it from 07-10, if he had neutralized Pac in that period, that would be down as one of the greatest wins of all time. I think he probably would have. Both generational ATGs, of course.
If you judged Pac the way you judge all other boxers his 2008-2012 run would not look that impressive.
Are Pacquaio fans the worst boxing fans of all time? They have never got over the JMM sparking and Mayweather 118-110. They are still arguing, crying, complaining, whining, screaming all these years later, it's really embarrassing.
Possibly. But Pac's been VADA-tested and hurt/dropped opponents in those fights. Floyd refused VADA-testing, had ultra low T/E ratios in fights, and used illegal IV fluids.
It's a genuine question, I've never known any bunch of fans to be so bitter and whiny, years and years after a fight. Normally it's just let go, memories fade a little and you focus on the best version of a fighter, remember the good times but PAC fans seem hell bent on trying to rewrite history or at lest stain it so those defeats don't hurt as much.
