Floyd would have always beaten Pacquiao.

Yes, Pac's body looked different. He was less shredded because he wasn't drained.

Please address my other points. And Pac never said he was afraid of needles. Literally no one has ever produced a direct quote.

Only kidding about the mum joke, BTW.

It's ok. I'm not offended. All in fun.

I know you will debate me to death on the topic. It's like trying to tell miniq that Fury is not in fact God. Hard to do and ultimately not worth the effort.

The afraid of needles thing was reported in the press at the time. I don't know where the info came from. I assumed from him. If his team said it, it seems like a wierd thing to come up with.

I'm always open for debate. I think I present my points very clearly and without emotion.

Check my posts. I've always said that it's possible that Pac could have juiced, but him performing at an elite level and hurting/dropping much bigger guys under VADA testing says to me he's clean.

I'm a huge fan of him as a boxer, but I think he's a dumbass and bigot outside of the ring.

Many say the same thing about Floyd and Canelo, that Floyd would have "always" beaten Canelo. The thing to understand is that in both situations, Floyd went to great lengths to ensure that he had advantages before agreeing to fight Pac or Canelo. With Pacquiao, it was ducking him for 5-6 years, while suggesting Pac was on PEDs, and demanding more stringent drug testing. With Canelo, it was saying the weight was unfair because Canelo rehydrated too much and would only fight him if Canelo would sacrifice himself to meet him at a catchweight.

If Floyd would have "always" beaten Pac or Canelo, then he wouldn't have needed the kind of advantages / stalling tactics in order to fight them. The real answer is that Floyd ducked Pacquiao for years because he doubted himself and his ability to beat Pac back when Pac was looking unbeatable. With Canelo, Floyd doubted his ability to win, cited weight differences even though they both were Champs of the same weight class lol., and wouldn't fight him straight up without him ensuring he had advantages and his opponent disadvantages. These tactics are not a sign that he would always have beaten either Pac or Canelo, if he would have always beaten them then he wouldn't have insisted on having advantages that would make it easier for him to win.

So, given how Floyd ducked Pac and how he insisted on a catchweight with Canelo, you can't really make this argument that Floyd would have always won. If he would have always won, he would have fought Pac in 2010. he would have fought Canelo at 154. He didn't do those things, instead he manipulated his way to victory in both cases, making the argument that he would have "always" beat either fighter not credible.

I keep hearing this story and I keep asking for proof and I keep getting snark back. It's almost like...people are making it up.

Nah. Floyd avoided Pacquiao until he was old and slower.

OMG we agree for a change

FWIW today's Canelo would tear Floyd in half at 160 and for me it's obvious as heck.

    I understand what you're saying Mr P.

And that's true I've never seen you complain or moan about Horn or Bradley and I think they were far worse.

And yeah, We can talk about who hired who, but Alex Ariza isn't exactly squeaky clean, he has made some rather huge claims/comments about Pacquaio.

Look bottom line.. neither Mayweather or JMM tested positive and if I am asked to accept Pacquaio was clean because he never failed a test then those two deserve the same benefit of the doubt.

I think it's just the rivalry, it was just so personal for what? 6 years? And it still lingers today, I think it's time it was put to bed.

All that said, I repeat, I personally think they probably both used PEDs, it wouldn't be a shock if they did.

Did jmm know it? What about a faded erik Morales? What about Bradley? The truth is pbf is just better than pac an older faded pbf schooled him worse than he's ever been beaten. That says alot about him. Excuses! Pac can't beat pbf because he has no answer for PBF's ability to control range and dictate distance on his ass. Thst's the reason why pac can't beat him and no one has refuted it yet.:deal:

Pbf dominated both pac and jmm in fact he pretty much dominated every fighter he faced with the exception of about 3 fights.
