No. No he is not.

Leonard is arguably the most complete modern fighter of the last 50 years. He has a much much better offense than PBF at any range, and that offense and defense was tested against a truly diverse and skilled set of fighters. He beat swarmers, boxer-punchers, defensive cutie counterpunchers, sluggers, and convincingly. He could punch. He could box. He had infighting and outboxing skills. He threw much better combinations than PBF ever did, even at his 130lb peak.

There is no comparison between Sugar Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Technically or resume wise. SRL would embarass him at WW.
