It's ironic that the OP is talking all this **** and yet has not seen the fight. Brilliant!

I love Pacquiao - still my favorite boxer and I'll be rooting for him when him and Floyd fight. But coming from a spectator and boxer?....

You cannot comprehend how majestic Floyd boxes - (def. BOXING: to hit and not get hit). If I could ever box professionally, I'd box like Floyd. Undefeated, highest paid athlete in sport, and the least damage to my brain. Why would you not? To get dementia and chronic headaches/risk developing Parkinsons when you're 50 years old because you wanted to hear the crowd roar?

Pull up both their resumes - Pacquiao STILL beat Floyd's seconds regardless of what fashion. A 36 year Floyd dominated a better fighter than Bradley will ever be in that of Canelo. The mothe****ker walked out of MGM like it was another Monday at work. At 37 yrs old, Maidana is a good fight after his win against, what supposed to be the next star in boxing, Adrian Broner.

Please don't act like the sole purpose of Floyd avoiding Pac is because he is scared. He is the one who called and offered Pac a deal. He knows he can beat Pac but would like to see MAXIMUM reward in his risk-to-reward calculation. That's what smart boxers do. That's what smart deal makers like Al Haymon would advise to do.

    Peace!

Floyd just knows how to look good in his fights because they are all significantly inferior to him.

That has always been his selling point.

Give him someone with better odds... but he will not do that.

    Woulda, coulda, shoulda....

Floyd would have done f*ck all.

To say Floyd would have done ANYTHING, you would have to imagine him getting in the ring.

At least Timmy had enough balls to compete. Twice!

And Canelo (weight drained I might add) is a higher caliber opponent because?? He beat Trout? Angulo?? Bradley beat Alexander when he was undefeated. He's beaten JMM, Provodnikov, Peterson.

    Like who besides Pac?!

At 37, he is fighting someone who just brutalized a kid who does the best impression of himself - just to show the black young'n how its done.

Except Pac, he's beaten the best. Seriously, google some current rankings in Jr. Middle and Welterweight. He just beat Canelo at 36 yrs old, who is arguably the best Jr. Middleweight right now. Just look down the list..do you honestly feel that someone like Shawn Porter or Lara will draw big PPV numbers and are ready for Floyd?? He fighting the best fighters that is not Pac. It sucks because they can't negotiate because of:

    1. Top Rank and Golden Boy
    2. Showtime and HBO

    That's like the double whammy.

Devon Alexander? Do you wanna see another Floyd vs Chop Chop again? or Floyd vs Corrales (although not southpaw)? Alexander would eat Floyd's straight right all day.

*****s, "floyd wins all 12 rounds." floyd wont even get in the ring with the caliber of manny pacquiao or a timothy bradley. hes not too confident that he will win. thats why he only fights guys like maidana and guerrero, guys who are slow and he knows he can exploit

He dominated Guerrero (who just beat Berto that was 28-1), for a TUNE UP fight straight out of jail. Do you see any boxer that picks boxers like Guerrero for a jail time tune up and completely shows no ring rust?

Jesus Christ...Fans dog on Floyd, but actual boxers (amateur or pro) respect Floyd.

Floyd won't win all 12 rounds but he will mentally break down both fighters with feints, traps, and defense. Do you really think Floyd will just sit there and let Pac throw an 8 punch combo? He is smart enough to hold Pac after the 3rd punch to stop the momentum and reset.
