I'll be saying the same thing. There should also be a thread limit per month for any one user. Especially one with simple one line questions.

I doubt Matthew Hatton would have lasted the distance with Floyd

Canelo is the Donaire of the light middleweights. I don't see Canelo doing well once he starts fighting guys his size or bigger. If Floyd dehydrated like Canelo, Floyd would be fighting the likes of Mares. How ludicrous would that be? Yet Canelo is seen as some kind of warrior.

    Not by much, if any!

They both had about the same amount of title defenses.

FLoyd has a past prime Hernandez on his resume, Canelo had more past prime
    Mosley.

Trout is better than anyone else on FLoyd's resume at 23.

Canelo is getting a shot at the number one fighter in the world and already
fighting PPV's and a big draw on his own. FLoyd could not do that until he was about 30.

    Try again.:deal

Floyd is at his optimal weight when he's fighting at 147. He only has to drop 5-10 lbs and can focus on training for a specific opponent rather than focusing on dropping weight.

I don't think anyone truly believes that Floyd would fare better if he was fighting below 147. The competition at 140 is far too much for him. LW and SFW are dead about now but most those guy could/would handle a dehydrated Floyd.:tired

  15. Floyd still had a bigger fan base at age 23, Canelo's fan base is only getting bigger due to him being overhyped and fighting nobody's and winning, He only fought 2 good fighters, Mosley and Trout but Mosley was not in his prime and Trout showed how overhyped Canelo is. Floyd earned his fan base by his peformances, especially when he displayed a masterful performance against Corrales at age 23. Has Canelo put on a masterful performance yet? Don't say the Trout fight because if it wasn't for the biased judges and the knockdown in the 7th he would have lost. Floyd fan base=Everybody Canelo fan base=Mexicans
