Floyd's 40 million offer doesn't seem so bad now.

Without discounting the tickets to a price that essentailly cancels out any "gain", nobody is going to sell that many tickets. The point is it doesn't matter how many tickets you sell, what matters is how much money is generated from the respective sales...in Manny's case that was about 6 million less than Mayweather vs Cotto, on triple the tickets sold.

Let me just ask you or anybody this who is in favor of Mayweather getting the higher share what are you more concerned with the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight going down Or Floyds bank account?

Cus lately you all seem more worried about Floyds money as if somehow thats going to have a direct impact on your day to day life...

The focus should be on the fight being made, both fighters bring something to the table both fighters are the best in that division have been for some time its time we put the fight together at any expense but just becuase I say that it shouldnt have to be at Pacquiaos expense

So again I ask you what is more important the fight or Mays bank account?

I wouldn't reply either if I were you, seeing as how you don't know what the **** you're talking about. Even though you post in every thread involving the topic, you've clearly made zero effort to learn anything, your ignorance is disturbing.

For those of you who think Pacquiao deserves 50/50...

Do you think Floyd deserved a 50/50 deal for the de la Hoya fight?

didnt the two have a verbal agreement for their rematch to take place at 147 and that Mayweathers promotional company would be gettin the larger share isnt that why Floyd retired rather than to fight the rematch at 147?

and speaking of that rematch that was said to happen, why were Floyd fans okay with the rematch at 147 and seemingly not okay that Pacquiao fought Oscar at that weight:think

While De Lahoya was the face of boxing he never went 50/50 with anybody including Trinidad.

Now that Floyd is the Face of boxing he needs to go "halfsies":-(
    that's never going to happen.

    :huh

Dude, I don't give a **** what either one of these dudes get paid outside of my concern for the fight being made, period. Mayweather isn't going to take a pay cut to fight Manny, simple as that. The numbers and events that have transpired to this point are simply a baseline that provide context to what's being asked for. Sure a simpleton will say "It should be 50/50 that's it" because that requires no effort, no information, no critical thinking, no real intellectual investment. The reality is that Floyd makes 40 millionish per fight, Manny makes 25 millionish, if they have 97.5 million to split, add 15 million to each and see what you get. It's common sense if you look at the numbers and do your own work, the offer being laid out is a fair offer (especially as a starting point). That being said, to excuse turning down the offer and accepting a fight making 15 million less, is ****ing stupid and essentially killed the fight. The two ideas are very closely related.

Why don't pac just take the offer then. since he likes getting shafted by his promoter anyways.

I don't think anyone hear is actually concerned about how much these guys make. It is about whether or not the fight is made.

Hell if they did it for free we are going to watch but clearly the purse split is an issue standing in the way of this fight actually happening.

Where did you get this figure ? If true, Floyd made $50,000,000 as a boxer and co-promoter not as a boxer alone. fact:deal
