Floyd's 50-0 ~vs~ Manny's 8 Divisions

Competitive. Not close. Plus Hatton was fighting 2 dudes in the ring.

 

It wasn't really competitive either. Floyd won most of the rounds, and was beating Hatton on the inside even without Cortez.

 

This is a very good fair point when people evaluate in that the starting point wasn't the same

 

But Mayweather beat Pac

 

Pac was injured and Floyd juiced.

 

Floyds 50, he beat so many good fighters . He was almost 40 years old when he beat Pacquiao

 

It was competitive. Don't Stan so hard.

 

I wouldn't even call it 8 weight because that title fight against Margo was BS, dude wasn't even ranked at that weight to begin with.

Having said all of that Pac's 5 weight lineal is where its at, better than Floyd's 50-0 imo.
Floyd the better boxer though, Pac would be judged better by history.

 

I have them at 14 (Floyd) and 15 (Pac) all-time .

I could easily reverse the order, or, with the passage of time , move one or other or both, a bit further up.

It depends what you're looking for and what you put value on.

Both at their very best , 2010, I think Pac might have edged Floyd, and I think that's why it never happened.

 

If pac was injured thats on him shouldn't have fought he robbed us all

Marciano beat Louis
Hagler beat Duran

 

Took 5 years to get Floyd in the ring, bruh. And that wasn't a fight that could be rescheduled given the magnitude.

Honestly all i can remember from that fight is Floyd's Papi saying. " You're fighting scared". That's all i can remember because it was snoozefest typical floyd fight. You own father saying that. WOW! Unbelievable.

 

I would have much rather have seen Pac ko May than him take a paycheck
