If Floyd and the winner of the Canelo/Cotto fight was somehow able to fight for the 160 title (doubt it) AND Floyd won then Golovkin would become his mandatory 😂

Which wouldn't matter, because I doubt Floyd goes for 51-0 (assuming he were to reach 50-0).

And why on earth would you doubt that, if a fight between Floyd and the winner of Cotto-Canelo were to take place - that it WOULDN'T be for the 160 pound title? That makes zero sense to me.

Of course it would be for the title.

If Cotto won then he wouldn't fight Golovkin, that's for sure.
But since Canelo will win, I suspect he will fight Golovkin.

Golovkin is going to get the title either way. The winner will either be stripped or they'll fight and have it taken from them that way.

If you don't believe me then you need to pay closer attention to what's being recently said from K2, GBP, and WBC Prez.

I think he'll go past it. 30 mill for easy fights? Why not?

On the belt, it depends whether or not the winner is stripped. Perhaps K2 will back off and allow the fight to happen because it gets them closer to a fight with Mayweather.... Then again, K2 is probably smart enough to realize Mayweather would hold the title hostage and never fight GGG under any realistic circumstance.

I don't believe you. At all. The WBC has already contradicted themselves, more than once I believe, when it comes to Golovkin getting a shot.

The WBC will bend over backwards to give the Cotto-Canelo winner an exception to either have a rematch with each other or to face Floyd. And nothing you, K2, GBP, or the WBC themselves say will convince me otherwise.

If Floyd fights the winner of Cotto-Canelo it will be both for the WBC title and the lineal title.

    Bet the farm on that.

Mayweather won't fight Canelo regardless so it's a mute point.

Bet the farm on that 😉👍🏻

I wouldn't bet the farm on that. If Canelo dominates Cotto (which is possible), Floyd-Canelo II could become a reality.

Regardless, I think Floyd will take the easy payday against "healthy Pac", and that Golovkin will continue to get snubbed by the WBC.

Probably make DSG take a rematch with Khan, winner gets Floyd, kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Eitherway, easy work for Floyd. 49-0 is secured with Berto and gettin to 50-0 just as likely. He'll let Spence tame any 147-154lber that challenges him, just like Thurman was recently.

You think the way the so called 160 elite are ducking GGG is OK huh ?? GGG is the uncrowned undisputed 160 pound champ there is no one out there can beat him. But just like they did with Margarito they'll find a way to avoid him
