:good You are correct! I know his dad must have put him in with some good fighters too! At least we got something to look forward to when he retires permanently. For now Im looking forward to the Ortiz fight then hopefully Pac.
Chris Eubank used to finish sparring the day before the fight. Other than that and this with Mayweather, I've not known it.
Judah aside, that list sounds pretty ****ing boring to me... I mean compared to DLH's and Sugars previous sparring partners that list is awful.
Nothing in his sparring, actual fights or style and age will help him in a fight vs manny pacquiao. that is coming from a big fan of Floyds skills below 147.
Out of interest can you name some of their (Oscars and Shanes) sparring partners I dont remember many of Note with the exception of Valero (who had bad things to say about Oscar) and lately Shane has only sparred Nazim's nephews and was it Corely too...
Apparently he sparred with middleweights when he was @ 130 I doubt Roger/Floyd Sr. would put him in with any jokes I just hope these tapes would be available to the public and not just to a select few from Boxing's hierarchy.
Lately Floyd has only sparred security guards and apparently his baby mama. Do your research fool instead of hanging on to one boxers nuts
I gotta see this. Chad Dawson's old trainer would say that Floyd would walk middleweights down in sparring
Floyd Sr? :hey Mayweather has a protestant work ethic when it comes to sparring. To add to Atlanta's list I believe he has sparred with Wayne McCullough and Erik Morales too.
- The sparring would be awesome to watch. - Apparently wears ankle weights when sparring - to make his legs/stance strong.
yeah one of the guys I knew pretty well at the boxing gyms in vegas was Carl Cockerham ( you can look him up on boxrec). He's a journeyman but he is BIG, strong, and fast, walking around at over 200 and cutting down to about 180 or so. Floyd used to spar him and just demolish him, and this guy is a superb, fast, big athlete. Carl put it hard on the head of Guyana's olympic team easy, he's better than his record, but Floyd just toys with him. Floyd against the big guys would be cool to watch. Interesting to see the tapes.
