:hi: It's a message board.....lines of communication and dialogue is free flowing and expected. But don't get it twisted......I don't seek approval for my opinions. I welcome debate and others opinions but approval is not necessary b/c everyone has their own opinion. You actually thought there was a chance that you'd be compensated for your opinion?:rofl:rofl Again.....don't assume. It's not a good look.

Homie....I wasn't comparing the fighters...just the situations. The P4P title is one of the most appreciated and sought after titles in the sport today....so there are similarities b/c the Lineal HW title is highest title in boxing....or it was at one point. So with that said Ali wasn't just GIVEN the title when he got his licence back...he had to earn it in the ring by the man you took over his spot when he was forced out. Similar to Floyd and Manny's situation.:good

So you don't think Cotto earned the win? You think it was given to Cotto b/c he was undefeated?:think Interesting....for me I though Shane won but it was in NO WAY a robbery. It was a CLOSE fight and it could have gone either way...it just so happened that the judges felt Cotto won....and I'm cool with that.

It's not similar in the least. The p4p ranking means **** compared to the heavyweight title Ali was forced to vacate. The p4p "title" is nothing but one mans opinion. When enough people agree a consensus is formed and people use the term to apply to a particular fighter. Its really a foolish thing to get bent out of shape about. Imaginary honors such as this are the domain of Pac fans so it doesn't surprise me how many of you guys are attracted these threads.

Or the fact that he only lost the title by retirement.

And coming back and doing is impressive, it's never be done before.

I have them as 1a and 1b though.

I meant exactly what I said. Mosley should have won the fight. The judges had it wrong "on purpose" protecting the face fighter who still had his valuable 0. I'm not a big believer in "it could go either way". This is a rare fight where the fight was razor close, it was not a robbery that Cotto won, but I don't believe he would get a similar decision in a close fight now that he is on the way to Arum's scrap heap. If you don't get what I'm saying the sports books are going to be a problem for you as the face wins a majority of the close fights.

 I can gauge pretty quickly which posters deserve my time, and trust me when I tell you, the only person you've been routinely owning is yourself...with your embarrassingly bias threads and horrible grammar.

I think it's quite simple with the DLH fight.

DLH fought Mayweather at 154, while he was the number 1 LMW.

He fought Pac at a weight he hadn't been at in 8 years and in the ring he weighed LESS than Pac.

To even compare who's winning faster is stupid.

Mayweather tends to fight off the back foot and counter. Pac fights going forward and pressing the attack.

Some got Pacquiao at #1 (Ring Mag, ESPN, SecondsOut, etc.) others has Floyd (Yahoo Sports, etc.). It's a close call or maybe Pacquiao is only a hairline ahead at this point.

Either way DLH was still the heavy favorite in his fight with pac.... that is until he got anally penetrated..

People have to think about the situations that the fighters themselves were in as well, not just their opponents. Pac had to move up a lot of weight for this fight just like marquez, but just held it better. Same with the Floyd Corrales I, Floyd had a torn cuff so thats props for fighting (even though I saw that as a loss)

DLH was the heavy favorite until everyone saw that he weighed 2lbs less than Pac in the ring.

Once I saw that, I knew Pac was going to brutalize Oscar.

You meant to say Castillo I. Floyd knocked Corrales out. There are a lot of Pacroid fans commenting about fights they have never seen. You sure you didn't hear about Floyd losing Castillo I from a waiter at your favorite Mexican joint?
