Floyd is a brilliant-stellar fighter, no doubt but what kind of adjustments he did in his fight with Pacquiao ?

Get at him immediately in the first rd caught him early with two counters and that basically dictated the entire fight.

He actually didn't make many adjustments in this fight as he didn't have to. There were probably some subtle things he did, but he pretty much controlled the fight from the outset.

^^^This. Manny did not force Floyd to make any major adjustments. Only 2 fighters till this day to my recollection forced a plan B out of Floyd. That was Zab and Shane.

Think he simply had Pacs number from the start.

so basically he used his jab and his footwork, knowing that Pac can't cut off the ring although he's fast on his feet.:think

Floyd just wholly out-boxed Manny. He threw more punches in total, averaged more per round and connected at a significantly higher percentage.

I wonder how much Floyd Sr helped FMJ with his indications cos everytime I have the same feeling that Floyd doesn't give a sh.it on what Sr is saying. I think Floyd visualises the fight very well and he knows exactly what he should do in the next rounds.:think

This. Mayweather got Pac's respect in that first round after those two right hand counters. After that, Pac was hesitant to sell out and that's what he needed to do to have a chance.

The whole world is making memes out of Floyd being a runner, boring hugger, meanwhile everyone hailing Pac as the peoples champ. Whos embarrassed?
