Well we will agree to disagree. PBF is fast...he has never been considered as fast as Jones. at 160, Jones is faster than PBF is NOW at 147 IMO.

Meldrick Taylor and Camacho at 130 are the only fighters as fast as Jones in my recent memory. Mosley was close at 135.

It isn't just handspeed. You have to factor in Jones' amazing footspeed, balance, agility and coordination. Floyd is clearly inferior to him in each of these aspects.

I'm not hating on Floyd. He's a more complete fighter than Roy (but still not as great all-time, IMO), but athletically there is no comparsion between the two.

Arguably the best 130 pounder ever. Doesn't rank particularly amazingly at 135 to 154. Not enough body of work.

    140 ATG:

    1. Aaron Pryor - Probably the most dominant fighter at this weight class, qucikness, aggression and power. Probably the only fighter I would favor over floyd at this weight.

    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. - the pretty boy was the complete package at this weight. Possessed a superior defense and uncanny accuaracy.

    3. Pernell Whitaker- crafty defense and offensive fighter. sweet pea while still good at this weight showed signs of slipping due to his out of the ring lifestyle.

    4. Oscar De La Hoya- great all round fighter who displayed great combinations and toughness.

5.Kosta Zyu - great champion, and tough as nails. great right hand power but lacked the defensiveskills to compete with the true elite in history at this weight.

    147 ATG:

    1. Sugar Ray Robinon
    2. Sugar Ray Leonard
    3. Thomas Hearns
    4. Pernell Whitaker
    5. Tito Trinidad

    * If floyd gets through hatton and beats the winner of shane/cotto then I will place him number 4 all-time at 147.

Beating Corley, Gatti and Brusseles Makes Mayweather the #2 140 of all time. :patsch

ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE, who agrees with BIGTIME9 is as ****in stupid as he is.

I dont rate Floyd in any weight class but 130. He is not a one weight class fighter so it isnt that fair. He stayed at 140-154 for probably 7-8 fights. Most were against good opposition but not the best at 140 or 147. We all know that. Fighting hatton and demolishing him will clear some of those cob webs and one more fight against the winner of cotto/shane. I hope it is cotto so there is nothing to say like shane was too old or anything like that. ODH is fighting two fights in 08, my question is WHO? One of them will be a rematch with FLOYD I BET YOU.

    140:

    1. Julio Cesar Chavez
    2. Kostya Tszyu
    3. Aaron Pryor
    4. Antonio Cervantes
    5. Nicolino Locche

*Floyd could be in the Top25 because of the toe-to-toe basis.

    147:

    1. Sugar Ray Robinson
    2. Sugar Ray Leonard
    3. Emile Griffith
    4. Jose Napoles
    5. Henry Armstrong

    *Can't rank Floyd there yet.
