So if Floyd steps up to heavyweight then you'll probably automatically put joint 1st with Ali, simply because he had such great speed and skill at the weight? (despite that fact he would have got KTFO by 99% of them)

    I also said this:

Sorry Bigtime. But a fight is in the weight class of the fighter who weighs the most entering the bout. If you don't know this...you know less than we all thought.

If Hatton comes in at 140 to face PBF like he says, it is still a 147 fight because PBF weighs 147. You deny this?

too dumb for stupid. Please don't try and be intelligent when you post, your inbreeding shows that way. are you saying 99% of the fighters from 154-130 could ko floyd:deal

    * Hint: don't use analogies they are not your strong point!

Quoting half the post isn't gonna save you. You said there were 3...I said there was one, maybe 2. Upon further inspection there were 2. Not 3 like you said.

You are claiming even though the fighters he fought were over 150lbs, that becaue in some of them SRR was 147, they are WW fights? Is this your position?

Exact same situation then isn't it. Why don't you answer the question? IF Hatton comes in at 140 to fight PBF and PBF weighs 147...what weight class is the fight in?

Im saying that 99% of HEAVYWEIGHTS would KO him.....But according to you he would still be a top 5 heavy of all time simply based on his skills.
You have to go by resume...in which case Floyd at 140 is now where near top 5

uh nope I posted links to 5 fights were ray fought below 160:deal

wrong again, I know you are trying to save face but I won't let you. :admin we are talking about ray being the best welterweight of all time based on the 5 fights I saw of him at the lower weight classes and against bigger men he was the real deal.:deal you can talk ad naseum about what defines a welterweight fight and how much his opponents weighed..all irrelevant. stay focused daniel-san:lol:

your question is irrelevant to the topic thread..stay focused:deal

Don't change the topic. Don't add in caveats. Below 160 is not WW. Above 147 and below 160 is MW. You saw MW fights. If SRR weighed above 160, it would have been a LHW fight. What defines the weight class a bout takes place in is totally relevant. You saw MW fights.

You're claim to seeing SRR fight at WW are proven wrong. You saw him at MW. For all you know, when SRR fought guys under 147, he had trouble with their speed. You didn't see WW fights though....So you can't rank him there.

Thats like ranking RJJ at CW based on his HW fight cuz he came in under 200. That's like ranking Marciano at CW. Doesn't work like that.
