And they stopped awarding it in 1989 to ANYONE in ANY weight class when they almost went bankrupt....including stripping the champions they have in 88':lol::lol::lol:

It's not that no one EARNED the title....as I said, there WAS no title.

    LMAO....Backing off that statement already?

    http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php/The_Ring_Magazine%27s_Annual_Ratings:_1989

See...no titles for ANYONE in 1989. Even Tyson.

The Ring was founded in 1922 by Nat Fleischer, who gave out its first belt to then-heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey. Champions continued to get belts until 1979 before some interruptions in the 1980s and an end of the practice in the '90s, partly because of changes in ownership.

that mosley wasn't considered the ring champ, he wasn't he never could have been considered ring champ based on who he was fighting at the time. no stevie johnston who was the wbc champ, no castillo, the ring just doesn't award titles to fighters they have to fioght the best to get that title, which is what floyd did and mosley did not:deal

stay on topic booty mouth were not talking about tyson:lol:

Ring titles are the topic. There were no Ring titles when Mosley was at LW. They didn't exist. :good

There is no topic with bigtime, just like there is no criteria. The topic switches everytime he gets clowned. And if that doesnt work, out comes the personal insult. It never ends with this guy and Im afraid that if we keep arguing we may ruin his chances at becoming a Rhodes Scholar.
