Funny Floyd''s best win was a De La Hoya left over and probably not rated in Oscar's top 5. Floyd even admits this was his best win. Oscar got the prime version of Genaro too! He was truly undefeated when oscar beat him in 6 rounds and made him quit.

Corrales is his best win imo

overall a good list, at least you didn't include the atrocious cherrypick that was JMM like *****s tend to do with these lists.

Mosley should be ranked at the bottom, though

Oscar is easily in Floyd's top 3 best wins. Floyd has never faced a bigger named fighter, for that reason alone. Also, he gave Floyd all he could handle for 8 rounds even though Oscar was next to washed up. Also, Oscar is by far the most talented fighter that Floyd has ever faced. Corrales, Castillo and cotto very distant 2nd, 3rds

Where's E Augustus, Floyd has always said that he was his hardest fight. Augustus's record is also very deceptive. He is much better than people give him credit for.

Oscar of 2007 was not Oscar of 2004.

Castillo at LW >>>>>>>> Oscar at JMW

Genaro at SFW >>>>>>>> Oscar at JMW

His win over Chop Chop is \better than the Augustus victory. Chop Chop at that time had only just recently lost his own JWW title.

The Augustus win is nice to look at and it couldn't be a better "tune up/cup cake" opponent, but it is nowhere near his top 20 victories.

The fact that Augustus gave him a good fight doesn't make the win better, if anything it would make it worse being that Augustus seldom ever won any of his fights against contenders nowhere near Floyds' stature.

I never said it was a top 20 victory, but it is a very underrated one. Emmanuel Augustus is definitely no cupcake, he is a real journeyman kinda fighter with some good skill.

He also goes on to beat a real legitimate ranked contender in Vilchies and a pretty good fighter in Trujillo

Yeah I'm a big Burton guy.

But if you take away all of Floyds' pre-Genaro Hernandez fights, Emmanuel Augustus is close to being one of his worst opponents.

Judah was coming off a loss and looking like a washed up bum

But for six rounds schooled mayweather
    Faster
    Hit harder
    Slick

And judah is a ****, basically

Castillo 2 and corrales are top notch A wins
    Baldomir is a great win
Hatton is a great win, but having it at 147 takes away the shine

I've never heard of anyone except a ***** make a case for the Oscar win

A SD win over a washed up Oscar say it all
It was a **** sti job of a fight, like hopkins fights usually are

Manny tore apart Oscar one year later, yet somehow fighting at 147 washed Oscar up?

No , Oscar was past his best for years

The loses to manny and floyd are both overrated

The Moseley fight was the same deal

It's ain't like a win against the Moseley who fought winky wright a second time

The most telling thing about his résumé is who isn't on it

    Paul Williams
    Martinez
    Margarito
    Undefeated cotto at 140
2009 pacquiao, a true real A+ HOF all to,e great in his prime
    Shane or Oscar before 2005

The only fighter that will hurt his legacy a bit will be Pac and that is only because there was so much buzz about it. However, Pac walking away from the test and the fight will forever hurt his name . . . as a fan of both guys I wish Pac would have done the right thing and took the test and the fight would have happen in 2010

when *****s can not even agree among themselves, you know what's up.

because floyd doesnt havea defining win against an atg in his prime.

    end of.

a part time promoter-coke sniffing-fishnet wearing-past his prime oscar dela hoya, really?

couldnt even dominate dela hoya until the guy tired.

No wins over an ATG in their prime. Very few fighters in history have that.

No, Oscar is not his best win and most people wouldn't rate it higher than 4th or 5th at the very highest.

When you say "*****s", I assume you're a Pacquiao fan, and Pacquiao doesnt have a career defining win at all. Please enlighten me.
