Only a dummy would agree with that . Sure Mayweather would keep more of the money himself but who cares. The moral here is Mayweather can keep his 50 and PAC can keep his 50. What PAC does with his 50 is up to him, he can give it all to Arum and no one would care...except for you.

Kind of makes sense that if Manny gets a 40/50 million guarantee and that is actually HIS MONEY (not bob's) then the deal looks better. I don't know if its still the case but I heard that he has to give around 30 percent a fight to promoters & management that's kind of the equivalent of around 70million (very rough maths) - if that's the case, it probably isn't too far from the mark

I dont think its a money thing, its a pride thing. Same way he wanted that extra 1% vs Hatton, ye 1% is a bit of money but not that much, yet it seemed important.

50/50 doesnt mean he takes away the same amount. Floyd may take 50% and Pac may take 50% but has to give 15% to his promoter, either way the deal is 50/50 therefore Pac doesnt have to concede that he is the lesser draw.
