Arum takes 30% from his fighters. Anyone with half a brain knows to drop him like a bad habit.

 

27.5% is what Pac pay his promoter. 2.5% is a lot of money when it comes to Pacman-Mayweather.

 

It can't be 50/50 because floyd earns way more. He also makes bigger PPV numbers constantly. Pac agreed to take a smaller cut so even he know's that but now he wants 50-50 again. $40 million is nearly double the highest guarantee pac has ever had in his career and he couldn't accept it. Floyd makes $45 million vs ortiz who has no fan base. He makes around $15 million extra than pac does who took $30 million home from the marquez fight which was the highest payday of his career. Floyd does an extra $15 million more than that vs a nobody. These guys are not on the same level. Floyd offered pac a guarantee which is $10 million more than pac has ever earned off one fight and that's before they even talk about PPV. How did pac say no. Seriously he needs to wake up he is not on floyd's level when it comes to making money.

How's pac fighting bradley for $25 million and maybe his last fight but he couldn't accept floyd's $40 million guarantee offer because he wanted more.

If they had gone out of their way to demand something so ridiculous back then, it would have harmed Floyd's image irreversably among his OWN fans. (Sure you had *****s railing about how Floyd deserves more, but most agree its a 50-50 fight)

They did a wise thing, using OSDT and Pac's reluctance to divide public opinion.

Now that Pac agreed to every test asked of him, this was Mayweather's last bullet in the chamber and they had no choice but to fire it.

Cant see how Floyd would ever back down from his crazy demand ever, after the Cotto fight he should just come out and admit it for ****s sake

It doesnt matter if Pacquiao is paying out money to Bob Arum that has nothing to do with what's fair in making a deal. The fight should be 50/50. Whatever Floyd / Pac does with their share of the money in the end is their business. Floyd offered Pac 0% of the PPV split. That's not even worth taking serious. Nobody would ever accept something like that. Manny proposing 50 mill was a hypothetical , it's just to show how ******ed an offer it is. And Bob Arum said he'd offer Floyd 45 mill which is more then what Floyd offered, so there you go.

 

I've been saying since this first came out that there was no legitimate 50/50 offer from team Pac but the *******s don't listen and treat every biased press release from Arum as actual fact.

Ok braniac use a little common sense. Your arguing Floyd deserves more then 50/50 because he keeps more of his money? That's not how it works. The money is generated through PPV buys/ ticket sales / etc, which both fighters are responsible for. Pacquiao / Floyd's PPV numbers are basically even, Pacquiao's last 3 PPV's have actually earned more then Floyd's last 3. So Floyd doesn't have much of an argument for getting more then 50/50. If he keeps more of his money in the end, fine good for him,but that has nothing to do with Pacquiao . He wouldn't be able to earn half as much of that money if it wasn't for Pacquiao's name on the card. Pac offered him 50-50 and agreed to all of his other demands, and Floyd said no and asked for 100% of the PPV revenue. That's a joke of an offer. Nobody would accept 40 mill on a business deal when they should be making almost double that.

ellerbe going into damage control. Let's say ellerbe was telling the truth, which most of the world doubts...Would it have made a difference? Would floyd accept the 50/50(55/45 winner) and 50m guarantee pac is saying they proposed?

simple answer is NO. and everybody knows that. so this statement they're making is simply for damage control making it seem like they wanted the fight instead of ourpricing themselves out of it. Floyd wants an amount that will end up around 70/30 in his favor which is ridiculous :rofl:rofl:rofl
