    Floyd's career is ending with a snoozer rather than something to remember him by. He may have the $ in the world but will never get the RESPECT he could've earned in all his fights.

    Years from now there's really nothing much GREAT to remember him by when you think of his 48 fights, exception of the DLH, CASTILLO and CORALES, everything else is a BLUR since he fought other BRAND named fighters post of their PRIME careers. He had all the skills but his "0" mentality got the best of him.

    This is what separates him from the BEST and I would not be surprised if other fighters may be elected ahead of him in the Hall of Fame because there will always be a constant DEBATE among his peers about his "cherry picked" career.

    TO BE THE BEST YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO FIGHT THE BEST PRIME vs PRIME.

    Floyd will retire and will always have that insecurity within him regardless how much $$$ he has. Funny that he called ROUSEY about how much he made in his last fight, it's not about that Floyd, you still don't get it....:bbb

    He and his fans will never get it they think money equates to greatness and that's simply not the case it's about who you fought and if this is his last fight he will be going out on a whimper

    Floyd is forever in his prime. He is trapped in the space time continuum

    He worried too much about his precious 0.

    I kind of don't blame him because without that 0 he would not have been marketbale considering his style and lack of offensive game.

    Spot on. :good

    His style isn't fan-friendly. Any style that lends it's self to longevity never is fan-friendly.

    More people tune in to see him lose than to win. He will admit that himself.

    Lets say he lost Castillo I - now what? He wouldn't be getting as highly paid or have as many fans.

    When you have nothing endearing about you, a 0 helps to keep you relevant... until you leave the game, then you are soon forgotten if you were never in any classic bouts!! I doubt any Mayweather fights will ever get replayed as they have all been sooo boring!! Hence his name will soon be forgotten when he hangs up the gloves!!

    He's 38!!!

    What do you expect? Him to be prime into his 40s?

    How many HOF fighters does he have to beat to get your respect?

    And even the rare occassion when he gave a fighter a beating post Castillo such as Gatti, who the hell will say;

    "Hey lets look at that awesome Floyd performace over a shot, C level Arturo Gatti, man what a warrior Floyd is!!" :verysad
