Floyd's career FADING FAST...

Well now it comes down to what makes an ATG.

Clearly, to me, a guy like Toney is far from one.

 

Frazier was never defeated in his prime.

He was half blind, been through tons of wars, and aged by the time he ever lost.

 

Just no... look at his resume and performances, even if you dislike the style, that's an all time great right there. A few bad fights don't erase what the guy's achieved, did Algieri erase Pacquiao's successes There's plenty of fighters with a few (or many) weak opponents, Floyd hasn't lost since Castillo, who he rematched straight away, and rarely takes a beating so he doesn't get the permission to take soft touch fights to have in between tough fights, yet everyone else seems to be allowed a weaker foe here and there.

Floyd was there for nearly 2 years. Kosta never moved from there.

? He got PASTED by Foreman less than two years and a couple of KO's after beating Ali.

Your only diversion tactic is to mention the origin of their titles.

I am not. I am mentioning their talent, accomplishment, and consensus ranking from people in the industry and those watching from the sidelines. #1 Junior Middleweights when they faced Floyd, both Cotto and Canelo were. Period.

I never called them "terrors" or made them out to be. You just got all defensive and started discrediting their titles.

Career MW who ATE HIS WAY UP to HW and won a world title? Won belts in all or most divisions he campaigned in and never got stopped in nigh-on 100 fights AND is one of the greatest defensive fighters ever?

Toney is a throwback AND an ATG.

Talent? At 154 NEITHER have any. Ranking? Ha.

Also, give me a few ATG's from the last 25 years please. I need to see what your definition of one is, because you are looking clueless.

Kosta was at LWW till he retired. Floyd had like 18-24 months there.

I mean Floyd fought Mitchell like 12-18 months after Kosta wiped him out after Kosta came off a long lay-off.

 

So Oscar, who lost every big fight he ever had, is an ATG? And Toney isn't? Hahaha.

 

I keep saying it but they don't seem willing to do it, judge EVERY OTHER FIGHTER THE SAME WAY YOU CRITIQUE FLOYD'S RESUME, you'll find if you shine the same intensity of light on others, you can appreciate it's an impressive resume.
