Floyd's career will never get the respect it probably deserves

and it is largely his own fault.

He should be proud of all the money he made (although he doesn't need to be a **** about it like he is), but he will always be viewed (outside of his hardcore fans)as, for lack of a better word, cowardly. But most of the blame falls on him for the way he has done things. His approach has certainly maximized dollars, but IMO at the expense of how his resume is viewed.

The latest example is the GGG conversation. In a 5 or 10 minute span, he says that he would beat GGG, that it would be a great fight, and that he may stick around for win 50... but GGG won't get a shot because "I'm at the end of my career" First off, I do NOT expect Floyd to fight GGG, nor should he (and for the record, at this point in time GGG would f*cking murder him.) but when you approach the conversation the way he did, you've now just said you could beat him at a weight that he would openly fight at, but said there is no way you're gonna fight him... despite the fact that this is one of the top 2 or 3 money fights for him at this moment (Floyd' justification for everything)

I'm good with whoever he chooses to fight because he's damn near 39... but FFS, unless you're gonna fight Golovkin, keep his name out of your mouth. With the comments he made, people will expect him to fight GGG.

Floyd is 38 and retired years ago. He keeps coming back to school fighters and feed off tears

I disagree. He seems to have a lot of adulation directed towards him.

Floyd gets more than enough credit. In fact he gets more credit than he deserves. Imo hes still living off the Marquez win. Floyds resume sucks! completely shot oscar, old moseley, old injured pac, undersized Marquez and Hatton, cotto a good win and canelo a meh win. Corrales a good win but he has nothing on his resume that jumps out as him beating a prime hall of fame fighter.

What's with the 118-110 remark anyway? 2 judges scored the fight 116-112. When 2 judges agree on something, what 3rd one says is irrelevant. You just enforce the idea that the judges were corrupt lol.

Wrong. Dave Moretti is the end all be all. He knows boxing. Most people had it 118-110.
