Floyd's conviction would be the greatest thing that ever happened in boxing.

Contrary to what one thinks, a Floyd conviction would be beneficial to boxing.

First, we would get rid of the most boring fighter of all time. See how he almost singlehandedly destroyed boxing with his DLH and Baldomir fight. Millions of fans swore off boxing on those nights of pure shame. Tiger Woods never saw a boxing match since then.

Second, boxing needs many superfights, no just one big supermegafight, where Floyd is bound to bore the whole world. Imagine just one big superfight that actually disappoints because one refuses to fight. Instead of inciting the world to boxing fandom, it will literally shun boxing off, for good. NO MORE BOXING FOR ME - WORLD. But if we had lots of exciting megafights, boxing will enjoy a renaissance, and the world will accept, as it should.

Third, the world loves offensive fighters. The publicity given to Floyd and Nard's ilk has prevented boxing from attaining mainstream status. Somebody already made a statistical analyses on this.

Fourth, justice. You commit a crime, you pay. You an arrogant trash-talking gun-wielding wife-beating punk spreading lies about boxers and who actually disappoints in fights, you pay. The world would be better off without your evil ilk. Seriously.

I'd take Mayweather vs Mosley or JMM over the likes of Emmanuel vs Clottey anyday of the week. That fight was so boring they might as well have shown static images whilst playing lift musak instead of commentary.

And... shut up you trolling dicksplash!

You see that's where you're wrong. Why were those fights boring? Someone refused to fight. Clottey. Floyd. Floyd. And more Floyd. :rofl

looks like you're going to hurt badly when mayweather anounces his return.
delusions lead to nothing but pain.
at least learn to cope if you cant find it in yourself to appreciate rare faculties.

Retire, return, return, retire, what's the difference?

I'm happy with whatever Floyd does, because it always pales in comparison compared to Pac.

I appreciate Floyd's skills btw. However, I appreciate the sport even more and basic justice the most. :deal

By performance, I hope you dont mean when he bored us versus Baldomir.

    Or Marquez.

    Or Dela Hoya.

    Hell even Mosley.

all exclusive atmospheric fights full of refined techniques and efficient boxing but you are proud of your own deficiencies so we'll let you to that.

Refined techniques and efficient boxing is OK, but heeding the call of greatness when the world looks is another thing. That's OK we are all in agreement that he aint great anyway. But the point of this thread is that he has been bad for the sport. :deal
