Floyds undefeated mother****er, Pacquiao isn't. Floyd fights nothing like them sluggers Pacquiao has been feasting on. Pacquiao can't deal with boxers which is why everyone believes Pacquiao and his camp have been ducking Floyd all along.
17-1 OMG ORTIZ LANDED 1... Just the fact you actually can find 4 straight left punches in his entire career, shows Money May's standard :bbb
The difference here as oppose to other southpaws is that Pac rarely throws one punch at a time. He could follow that left with a right hook to the body than a left uppercut...who knows. All I know is Pac is a more dynamic puncher and if you're there to be hit I'll give Pac the edge. He wins these exchanges coz he's too damn unpredictable. Factor in if Floyd uses a high guard, he gives himself less time to counter. Floyd's workrate is low to begin with, with a highguard it's even lower. Here's what I think will happen: Floyd at first will walk Pac down and try to impose his size and inside game. It likely won't work coz he won't get close enough without getting tagged with something major. Once Floyd tastes leather, plan B would probably to box and move and to keep Pac at the end of his jab, potshotting his way into winning rounds (probably his best way to win but certainly not a gimme).
Calm da **** down and talk some boxing. Floyd stands in the pocket nowadays. If you don't move you make yourself an easy target. If your a stationary target than the greatest offensive fighter in this era will find a way to hit you. Bank on it.
Mayweather has more tools than simply running around his legs to defend. He isn't no freddie roach fighter that must rely on excess movement to protect himself
Pac's guard is very underrated. He picks off a lot of shots. Easy for someone who doesn't pay attention to confuse Pac's defensive style with with Amir Khan's.
Let is know when you find out how Floyd fights first mother****er because you sound clueless about his style.
Against southpaws the shoulder roll is vulnerable to that straight left as portrayed by the zab and Ortreez gifs. The difference between those guys and Pac is that Pac follows up. Combinations, angles, volume. In fact Pac is like all the guys that gave Floyd trouble in one package. Shane(power), Castillo (volume), Zab(speed/southpaw stance) and than some. Sure May has more tools for defense, but his best tool will have to be his legs. That's the logic gleaned from Pac's last 2 fights; movement negates his offense whereas if you're there in his range he looks superhuman. It's a bit counter-intuitive than to stay in the pocket. Unless of course you think May's countering and shoulder roll def is so good that it would totally negate Pac from up close. I seriously doubt it.
You're not watching the fight properly. Floyd shoulder roll worked real well against Ortiz. pac has much less power than Mosley. margarito can tell you that. pac can't cut off a boxing ring like Castillo. Mosley and Marquez can tell you. There's not much you can do when you're rarely in range and position to attack. Floyd is great fighting off the backfoot aind in close quarters. Hatton can tell you that.
The good thing with Pac is that he executes the gameplan very well. but Floyd is very good at in-fight adjustments, as soon as he times pac's combos well with his right straights as pac leads with the left, Floyd would be potshotting his way to UD. Pac needs to have a plan B, I havent seen one on his last fight against JMM. Dont get me wrong, Im a huge Pac fan like you but I am more inclined to a Floyd UD over a pac TKO.
