May was plagued with an injury at the end of 07 and had to retire for close to 2 years.

Came back and completely dominated the #2 p4p Marquez was a sight to behold. One of the best comebacks in recent memory.

What a boxing lesson that was

Marquez landed 12% of his punches

May landed 60% of his punches

Marquez did not land anything significant in the fight, May was not hurt once. Wow!

May landed everything and had Marquez down in r2.

    Great great performance.

Not at all, I'm a PBF fan but im a bigger JMM fan

The circumstances surrounding the fight basically register it meaningless

    Nope.

    1. Floyd came back from an injury
    2. Marquez called Floyd out
    3. Floyd dominated him and that's that. :hi:

It is one of the most dominating/best wins in the modern day era. The domination was just great.

Pointless even discussing it tbh, no boxing journalist/commentator would consider it a great win due to reasons already highlighted

Actually, many ****ysts thought JMM would win. Even Bert Sugar thought JMM was going to beat May.

It is considered a very very great victory.

And it will only get better.

Nobody has mentioned that the coward mayweather didnt even make weight despite dragging marquez up 2 weight divisions and would rather pay a fine than risk his padded 0 record

The one where Floyd dragged his opponent up TWO weight classes and even then missed weight himself? That win?

good win for may all day after 2 yr layoff. jmm was killing him self to make weight at 135 anyways. floyd did him the favor by having him to move up to ww. but f that, thats just something to cry about marquez aint lose that fight because of 1 dam pound.

Excellent performance by Mayweather, one of the greatest displays of pure boxing you will ever see. Especiially when considering he completly dominated and wiped the floor with JMM, one of the best fighters of this era.
