You should read a little more carefully. I never said anything was a crime. I said I won't give an elite boxer much credit for beating someone who is two divisions smaller than them. I don't care who it is. No bias or hatred here and my logic is fine.

So going back to when there were half the divisions your standard of "two divisions smaller" is halved as well.

Therefore, you give no credit to elite boxers from past eras who beat fighters moving up in weight to the next division? Funny since many legends' top victories meet that standard.

Must be interesting to live in a world where Marvin Hagler gets no credit for beating Tommy Hearns, as Hearns jumped straight from 147 to 160 for that fight. Very odd of you to dismiss them like that...

so saying that floyd blatantly missed the weight against jmm are haters now? people are only stating facts. :deal

that it would be seen as a better win if floyd did not cheat with the weight and fought fair.

Read again. I never said no credit but not much credit. I give more credit for beating somebody who is your own size or bigger. Less credit for beating somebody who is smaller.:admin Crazy I know.

guys who don't want to give floyd credit for beating marquez are the same guys who are gonna refuse to give flod credit when he beats pacman....

in fact, they'll probably prefer not to give floyd credit for any of his wins, except for maybe gatti or emmanuel augustus, lol.

So no credit to Floyd if he beats Pac? Pac is tiny right? If that's also the case, no bigger guy should ever fight someone smaller than them.. The bigger guy gets no credit because he's bigger.. Floyd always fight bigger guys but still get no credit, which means that his opponents wouldn't get credit for beating Floyd, that also means most of Floyd's fights were a waste of time if no one got credit for them...

This is possibly the most frustrating thread I've ever seen in my life. Does anyone actually READ anyone else's posts? Like actually take in their argument, think about what they've said and then adequately think of their own response based on logic?

I'm done with this one. It's gone full re**** in here

Imo most accurate summation of that fight.

Does anyone think they didn't enter the ring at about the same weight? floyd never gains more than a few pounds after the weigh in.

Is this a joke? You quoted my post in which I said "Read again. I never said no credit but not much credit." So stop going on about "no credit". I give less credit for beating someone smaller than you than I do for beating someone the same size or bigger than you. When Floyd fought Marquez, Marquez was a lightweight, coming up to welterweight for the first time. No, Pacquiao is not tiny compared to Floyd. Pacquiao has been at welterweight for many years and would not be stepping up two weight divisions and fighting at welterweight for the first time against Floyd.

Funny thing is, the weight difference was the same for PAC #4, exactly the same. Jmm was older too and still ktfo of PAC. Let me guess, Floyd breaking his word was the difference ??? Lol
How many guys has PAC dragged up who never faught at that weight? Ya thought so.

Of course he didn't have a chance especially when Floyd can't honor the contract. But then *****s don't know anything about honor doesn't surprise me. Just like he made Maidana wear pillow gloves. Floyd's skills do pay the bills, his cherrypicking skills. Don't deny that, you know it's true, skank!

It's not a good win period.
It would be like GGG fighting a good 147 guy at 156 catchweight, cheating him on scales and then failing to stop him anyways and winning on points :patsch

Tell me why JMM won't mention PBF's name about a rematch? I'm waiting for one of you PBF haters to answer that? JMM would get a career high payday, a shot at the #1 P4P fighter and a shot at redemption yet he has no interest in fighting him again.:rofl You want to know why? Because he knows PBF is a stylistic nightmare for him and can beat him at his own game and he can't beat him that's why.:deal He fought Pac 4 times but won't even rematch PBF, that right there tells you everything you need to know. So continue on in your hate filled fantasy land because PBF owns JMM period so deal with it.:hi:
