Funny how it's pac fans that think Floyd will lose his fans. Been a fan of Floyd and Pacquiao for years. I've bought both of their ppvs for years. No matter who wins or loses I will still be a fan of both.
anyone that stops being a fan from a (hypothetical) loss isn't a real fan anyways. IF Floyd lost, the whole US would suddenly become die hard fans and claim they were fans all long. the US loves tearing the top athletes down, once they accomplish that feat they spend all the time and resources building him back up to much higher heights they were previously at. I don't think Floyd can lose to any but trip G at 160 ( says he can make 154 but Wlad would say he can make 154 for 30-75 Mil
I readily admit Chad Dawson is still my favorite fighter, in light of all of his issues. I don't turn on fighters because of a loss. Floyd loses, he still has my support.
Many fans won't, but many "fans" will, and those will be the most vocal people. It would be just like what happened with Mr. Jermain Taylor where, unable to cope, the traumatized bandwagon fans instead turned on "their" fighter for having the audacity to lose to the wrong person and, in their minds, making them appear foolish. Such "humans" aren't true fans, but they tend to talk the most, creating the impression that a bandwagon being shaken out is really fans turning on a fighter.
